Monday,2nd of June ,Group 2 : DSDThe topic of this class is mystery stories.Vocabulary: fingerprints, thief,disguise ,clue ,witness , binoculars ,detective ,hidden microphone ,magnifying glass...Game: EyewitnessesA murder was commited last night at eleven o'clock .The body was found in the garden .Each student is given a house plan ,a list of names and a role card .They have to find out where everybody was at eleven o'clock by asking questions like: What's your name? Where were you at eleven o'clock last night ?Who was there with you?Song: It's a mistery !The students listen to the song and complete the missing words.

Tuesday ,3rd of June :Group 3 : Art The students read a text about two of the greatest mistery story writers : Conan Doyle and Agatha Christie ,the creators of Sherlock Holmes and Hercule Poirot. After reading the text the students compare the two brilliant detectives : their physical appearance ,the different ways they solved mysteries...Mystery story writing : the children are given the beginning of an exciting mystery story which they have to finish.QUIZ : Would you be a good detective? The students test their memory and find out if they have good skills to become good detectives .Favourite books : Some children love mystery stories but others prefer reading fantasies and comedies .The children take turns and talk about their favourite books.Song: It's a mystery ! The students listen to the song and and fill in the missing words.Wednesday, 4th of June, Group 1 :ArtGame : Where are grandma's teeth?Grandma' s house is very messy and she has lost her teeth .Be a good detective and help her to find her false teeth .The children follow the instructions in order to find the next clue which will lead them on to another clue and so on .After they have solved their clues, they will find grandma's teeth.Vocabulary: messy , grandma, teeth ,living room ,kitchen ,bathroom ,bedroom ,cupboard...Prepositions of place : on ,in ,under ,between ,next to...Thursday , 5th of June :Group 3 ,DSDGames .Solving mysteriesVocabulary : fingerprints ,thief , disguise , weapon ,clue ,rope ,villain ,witness ,binoculars ,detective ,hidden microphone ,magnifying glass There was a storm last night and the electricity was out .Miss Cruela ,the english teacher was at her house alone ....well not completely alone. there was someone there ,too .This morning ,she was at her house ,alone and dead .The question is :Who was the murderer ?Now ,everyone is a suspect .Detective Sainis is interrogating the suspects .Will he find the murderer?The students are given role cards and answer the detective's questions. Friday , 6th of June :Group 1: ArtWatching a film : The great mouse detective (1 hour)Playing a detective game : ZZZ LandThe children have to imagine they are on ZZZ Land .Detective ZZZ is worried. She knows that someone from Earth has arrived in secret but she doesn't know who he or she is .The class is going to help her find out by breaking a special code.
