Quai des Bateliers and place du ChâteauDuring the day, Quai des Bateliers offers a contemplative stroll between urban and natural spaces. Take the time to admire and discover this spot with its expanse of water and multiple encounters. You will be treated to new viewpoints. Enjoy the shared hammocks and planted kiosks, slow down and savour the present. Your walk will take you past scented gardens which will only add the charm of the experience. Place du Château is a majestic space, imbued with reverie and discovery. It is the perfect location to host the work of sculptors capturing the fragile elegance and sensitivity of the plant world in their work. The Corbeau and Sainte Madeleine bridges act as transition spaces between the two riverbanks.

Night performance
This spectacular show will come to life every evening from 10.30pm in July and from 10pm in August and September.
Several performances each evening Place du Château and Quai des BateliersAs night falls, spaces transform. The light shows on the façades of Quai des Bateliers make for a spectacular, enchanting meander along the riverbanks. At Place du Château, the ornamentation on the façade of the cathedral will be lit up by video-mapping. Passers-by will be immersed in the intricate details of this majestic edifice shown in its best light, rather like an extraordinary garden. FARSE STRASBOURG STREET ARTS FESTIVAL
In the city centre streets and squares, and at Presqu’île MalrauxThe 2019 edition of the Street Arts Festival (FARSe), under the artistic direction of Claire Ducreux*, will feature around thirty street art companies from France and around the world. FARSe will once again be taking over the public space for three days, offering an incredible experience in the city. Each performance will be a collective, participative experience, a shared dream that comes from the heart. The streets, squares and other public spaces will provide the perfect setting for an unforgettable range of discoveries and events.Circus, spoken theatre and mime will be on hand, inviting the people of Strasbourg and visitors to see the city in a different light.
This is a festival for all audiences, offering delightful, generous performances for both young and old. The different arts overlap and combine to create a captivating poetic journey, a unique place of exchange between performers and the audience.
At the end of each day, there will be a participative show for and with the audience. The spectacular finale
will feature three elephants, strolling along with the audience in a presentation by the
company Oposito. A small-scale collective transhumance, and a spectacular sight
that will blow you away. Bagpipes, bombards and drums will join the crowd on the way to Place Kleber, the final salute, accompanied by three elephants. ALL AUDIENCES - FREESee the full programme at: farse.strasbourg.eu
*An internationally renowned dancer and choreographer whose performances
are influenced by mime theatre and clown arts. She takes
possession of public spaces by offering a light-hearted and
tender interpretation of the city, with a programme that reflects the companies
performing in the festival this year.

A key gathering place for the festival, the FARSe Court is a favourite spot for festival-goers and artists throughout the event.Between two crazy shows by Pelpass, you can enjoy a drink in a scenographic space designed by Art Puissance Art! A perfect opportunity to meet artists and other festival-goers, chat and relax before heading off to see other shows.

The 501st Combat Tank Regiment, a historic unit of General Leclerc’s 2nd Armoured Brigade in Mourmelon-le-Grand, will be honoured during this ceremony.
Public dance Saturday 14 July,

SYMPHONY OF THE ARTS Jardin des Deux Rives
To celebrate the start of summer, the Symphony of the Arts is the number-one event for the people of Strasbourg and the neighbouring areas as they
welcome the warm weather. This festival is a weekend of outdoor fun, with an outstanding music show to enjoy with your family or friends.
On Friday from 8pm, to mark the 50th anniversary of the legendary Woodstock festival, re-live the creative energy of the late 60s with tributes to the important figures it produced.Don’t miss an outstanding concert by the Strasbourg Philharmonic Orchestra for a blend of artistic talent and entertainment. The concert will take you around the world in 80 minutes, and is accompanied by an aquatic show on Saturday 29 June at

33rd summer tour “Dites 33!! “
Tuesday 16 July at 9pm This year marks the 33rd summer tour for the Théâtre de la Choucrouterie, devoted to medicine with Ray Charles’ “I don’t need no doctor” and Serge Lama’s “Je suis malade”. “Dites 33!!” is a multilingual show featuring a wide range of performing arts, and is sure to be a festive, joyful event. This collective of Alsace-based performers was created in 2015. Their varied repertoire of songs that have made a lasting impression, from the 1960s to today, extols the virtues of freedom of thought.
