Camp Kern’s 485 acre residential camp is located 30 miles north of Cincinnati, just

outside historic Lebanon, Ohio.

#CKHI5 - UPLIFTING NOTES FROM CAMPCamp Kern is dedicated to building up kids and families, and the newest initiative to do so is built around send-ing out positive notes to our Kern Family through Twit-ter. By using the hashtag #CKhi5, Camp Kern makes it easy for everyone to find these great notes from camp.

Here is how you can get involved in spreading the love:

• send an email to [email protected] and we will tweet whatever positive and uplifting note you would like us to!

• go to www.campkern.org/getinvolved/ckhi5 and fill out the online form.

• use your own account and tweet using the #CKhi5 tag!

Tweets will be displayed at camp on a monitor in the Dining Hall, so everyone can see your great messages! Help us make social media a positive, not negative, message for thousands of kids!

CIRCLE K RANCHUPDATESThis winter has seen a huge improvement to Circle K Ranch! Along with some super healthy horses, the new-est addition to the barn was 180 tons of sand in the in-door riding arena. Sand cuts down on dust, is healthier for the horses, and is a huge improvement in looks. The horses couldn’t be happier!

Along with facility improvements, Circle K is excited for this summer’s Ranch Camp programs. Traditional Ranch camp will be riding and playing all over camp again this year, along with the return of the Ranger’s Apprentice fully-themed literary camp. Author John Flanagan vis-ited Camp Kern this fall, and was thrilled with the pro-grams based on his novels.
