COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND COMPUTING The College of Engineering and Computing brings together the fields of computer science, data science and cybersecurity with software engineering, chemical engineering, civil engineering, electrical and computer engineering, engineering systems, marine and environmental systems, and mechanical and aerospace engineering. The mission of the College is to educate engineers, scientists and professionals who will be entrepreneurs or future leaders in industries, government and academia.

FEDERAL STUDENT AID Federal Student Aid programs are the largest source of student aid in America. Take advantage of this opportunity by determining your eligibility with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

FEDERAL DIRECT LOANSThese student loans must be repaid and may be available to eligible undergraduate and graduate students. If you qualify for a subsidized Federal Direct loan, the government will pay the interest on your loan while you are in school.

ALTERNATIVE LOANSPaying for higher education is a significant financial commitment. A variety of financial institutions offer private education loan products which can supplement other financial aid to help manage college costs.

PARENT PLUS LOANSDependent undergraduate students may be eligible for a Parent PLUS Loan. Parent PLUS Loans are additional unsubsidized loans made out to the parents of dependent students to help the student pay for education expenses. Maximum eligibility is the cost of attendance minus all other financial assistance. If a parent applies and does not qualify for a Parent PLUS Loan, the student may receive additional unsubsidized Federal Direct (Stafford) Loans.

FEDERAL PELL GRANTSFederal Pell Grants are available to undergraduate students only. Grants do not have to be repaid. The maximum Pell Grant for the academic award year is $6,195.

TUITION SUPPORT FOR OUR NATION’S MILITARYFlorida Tech welcomes servicemembers from all branches and their family members who have sacrificed for our country to attend our university for special military pricing, regardless of where they are stationed.

SPECIAL MILITARY PRICINGUndergraduate: We offer a special undergraduate tuition rate of $250 per credit hour for active-duty servicemembers, selected Reservists and National Guard members and their spouses. We’re also proud to offer a 10% tuition savings for honorably discharged veterans and their spouses.

Graduate: We offer a 10% graduate tuition savings for active-duty servicemembers, selected Reservists, National Guard members and honorably discharged veterans, and their spouses.

Reductions are valid off the standard tuition and program fee rate of any degree or certificate offered through Bisk Education. This reduction is not stackable with other reductions, and you may not use this reduction in conjunction with other reductions.

VETERANSAll Florida Tech college-credit degree programs are state approved for VA educational benefits. The Department of Veterans Affairs administers: The Post-9/11 GI Bill®, Montgomery GI Bill – Active Duty, Montgomery GI Bill – Selected Reserve, Reserve Educational Assistance Program, Veterans Educational Assistance Program, Educational Assistance Test Program, Survivors’ and Dependents’ Educational Assistance Program and National Call to Service Program.

YELLOW RIBBON PROGRAMFlorida Tech offers matching grants for honorably discharged veterans who are eligible for 100% of the Post-9/11 GI Bill. To take advantage of the Yellow Ribbon Program, you must first apply for benefits.

MY CAREER ADVANCEMENT ACCOUNT (MYCAA)The Department of Defense’s MyCAA provides financial assistance to eligible spouses of active-duty and activated Guard and Reserve servicemembers for the purpose of education.
