Fluid End Expendables

Mud Pump Pistons OEE offers a full line of pistons for duplex and triplex mud pumps. All API types are available. Among these are:

• Bonded Rubber Pistons Our premium pistons are fully interchangeable with other API standard designed pistons and delivery maximum performance in almost all drilling conditions. High tensile strength, resistance to chemicals, hydrocarbons, and abrasion, long lasting service, and full interchangeability with other API designed pistons make Our Premium piston a sound value.

• Premium Bonded Urethane Pistons This one piece bonded constructed piston has no joints to leak. But eliminates abrasive fluids between piston and liner. The fluid expanded lip is not damaged by high pressure and fast pump strokes. This Fail-Safe piston seals off to greater diameter as liner wears.

• Pistons with replacement rubbers Currently running in pumps using exotic muds and highest drilling pressures! Bonded construction - no joints, no leakage. Longer piston and liner life. This piston will run in higher-pressure, fast stroking pumps, and is resistant to oil base muds and other additives currently being used. The Stem Guided valve and seat and the Wing Guided valve and full open seat offers many advantages for today's higher pressures and faster drilling operations. Stem-guided valve &Tri-arm seat Features: greater fluid flow than four-arm seats, as well as it features an extra wide metal to metal seal on the valve flange,. The serrated upper surface on the valve gives a longer non-breathing seal between valve body and insert while the rigid seat cross-arms give greater strength and positive sealing. The strong, thick, valve knock off nut holds the insert tightly reducing flex and breathing which lessens the chance of foreign matter getting between valve and insert.

Liners.

Premium Chromium Liners

OEE premium liners combine the strength of a forged steel outer shell with the abrasion and corrosion resistance of a high chromium iron inner sleeve. These liners feature a centrifugally cast high chrome iron sleeve which is machined and heat treated to a minimum uniform bore hardness of 62 RC. Each liner is machined to close tolerances to assure ease of installation and long liner life with the inside diameter of these premium liners honed to a mirror-like finish for smooth even wear during the life of the liner. OEE premium liners are made for superior performance under tough corrosive and abrasive conditions.

Ceramic Liners

OEE ceramic liners combine the strength of a forged steel outer shell with the abrasion and corrosion resistance of a ceramic inner sleeve. We provide Zirconia(ZrO3) Sleeves as well as Alumina(Al2O3.) sleeves., of which Ziconia exhibits better impact strength, higher hardness and be honed to finer surface finishes than alumina.

Piston Rods for Duplex Mud Pumps

High quality Grayloy material is used on all OEE Duplex Piston Rods. This corrosion-resistant, high-density, long-wearing surface results in fewer packing changes and longer life for gland bushings and junk rings. OEE rods are furnished with a heavy duty Piston Lock Nut.

Clamps

OEE offers a full range of clamps for mating the piston rod to the crosshead extension (pony) rod. Machining tolerances are tightly held to assure proper fit and alignment of the adjoining components. OEE clamps are furnished complete with all required hardware.

Modules

Heat-treated and internally hardened for high durability; available in various materials to meet a wide range of applications; standard one or two-piece configuration, with designs available for pressure of 5000psi(35.1Mpa), 7500psi(52.7Mpa), and 10000psi(70.3Mpa); discharge connections available on each side; suction connections on each side or front center.

Material is 35CrMoA or 40CrMoNn alloy forged steel. To get better fiber texture, we use electric stove for second forging, or deoxidation treatment. It is forged from three directions and the forging ratio is not less than 4.0:1.0. It can not have crack, impurity, looseness, overburns, etc. And weld is not allowed. It should be confirming to the stipulation of JB/TQ252-81, and should be checked by gradeⅢ After quenching the rough module will be rough processed, then the hull hardness is HB285-330.

Mechanical property: σb ≥850MPa, σs≥670MPa, δ≥5%,ψ≥30%.

The two1:6(1:12) taper hole rolling treatments are checked by ring gage. Its contact area has continuous distribution on the circumference. The contact area is not less than 75% .The line of intersection of all cylindrical surface of the hull are facetted obtuse angle by hand or grinding wheel ,forming a circumference R≥8.Test pressure is 49Mpa, keep pressure 1 hour, pressure can not be reduced. Finished products have crack detection report.

Mup Pump

F-Series display products F-500 、 F-800 、 F-1000、 F-1300、F-1600 Mud Pumps: Ⅰ. Power End (frame, pinion shaft, crankshaft, crosshead and extension rod) 1.Power end features Continuous tooth herringbone gear. One-piece alloy steel crank. Renewable crosshead guide. The frame is made of welded steel plate to provide the frame with high strength, good rigidity and lightweight. The extension rod packing is of duplex seal structure to provide the good seal result. The power end uses the combined lubrication system of forced lubrication and splash lubrication. 2.Frame: The frame is made of welded steel plate and by stress relief treatment to obtain good rigidity and high strength. Ribbed plates are used to strengthen the place where the crankshaft bearing is fitted. The frame is furnished with the necessary oil basin and oil way system for cooling and lubricating purpose. 3.Crankshaft The crankshaft is made of cast alloy steel and is furnished with big geared ring, connecting rod and bearing. The tooth form of the big-geared ring is herringbone gear. The gear bore and the crankshaft surface is interference fitted and they are both fastened with bolts and lock nuts. The big end of the connecting rod is mounted on three eccentric straps of the crankshaft through single row short cylindrical roller bearings and the small end on the crosshead pin through double row long cylindrical roller bearing. Double row radial spherical roller bearings are mounted at both ends of the crankshaft. 4.Pinion shaft Pinion shaft is made of forged alloy steel on which a herringbone gear with the medium-hard tooth surface is machined. For easy maintenance, the single row radial long cylindrical roller bearing with inner ring (without sides) is used. Both ends of the pinion shaft extend out, so that the sheave or the sprocket can be mounted on either end. 5.Crosshead and Extension Rod The crosshead and crosshead guide are made of ASTM A48-83 meehanite cast iron featured by good abrasion resistance and long service life. Upper and lower guides are used on F-800 and F-1000 mud pumps, so that the concentricity can be adjusted by adding shims beneath the lower guide. F-500 mud pump is the

cylindrical structure. Bolted flange is used at the connection between the crosshead and the extension rod. The rigid connection ensures the concentricity of the crosshead and the extension rod. The coupling is used for connecting the extension rod to the piston rod. The lightweight coupling enables the extension rod and the piston rod to connect to each other easily and reliably. Ⅱ.Fluid End (cylinders, valve assembly, liners and pistons) 1.Cylinders Cylinders are made of forged alloy steel. Three cylinders of each pump are interchangeable. Valve-over-valve (through type cylinder) design reduces the cylinder volume and promotes the volumetric efficiency. At customers' request, the cylinder surface may be nickel plated to improve the abrasion resistance. Discharge pulsation dampener, shear relief valve and discharge strainer are furnished at the outlet. F-500 pump suction inlet is fitted with 8"flange, F-500 pump suction inlet with 10"flange and F-1000 pump suction inlet with 12"flange. 2.Valve Assembly The suction valve and the discharge valve for the above three mud pumps are interchangeable. F-500 mud pump uses API#5 valve pot, F-800 and F-1000 mud pumps use API#6 valve pots. 3.Liners Bi-metal liners are used. The sleeve is made of wear-resistant cast iron, and the surface hardness is HRC60-65. Therefore, liners feature wear resistance, corrosion resistance and high surface finish. Liners are put in from the cylinder cover bore in the front of the cylinder and fixed with liner cage, cylinder cover plug and cylinder cover when installing. 4.Pistons and Piston Rods They are slide fitted, sealed with rubber seal ring and finally fastened with lock nuts to prevent the piston from looseness and to play a role in sealing. Cylinders, liners, pistons, valves, valve seats, valve springs, seal rings, valve covers and cylinder covers at the fluid end of F-800 and F-1000 mud pumps are all interchangeable. Ⅲ .Spraying System 1. The spraying system consists mainly of spray pump, cooling water tank, and spray pipe, whose function is to cool and rinse liners and pistons to prolong their service life. 2. The centrifugal spray pump can be driven by a sheave mounted on the input shaft extension end or a separate motor and cooled and lubricated by water. 3. The spray pipe is mounted on the coupling between the extension rod and the piston rod and can reciprocate with the piston. The nozzle is near the piston end so that the lubricating-cooling fluid can rinse the contact surface between the piston and liner all the time. The durable fixed spray pipe may be used, too, which is durable. Ⅳ. Lubrication System The power end uses the combined lubrication system of forced lubrication and splash lubrication. The pressure oil is conveyed through lubricating pipeline, crosshead, extension rod, crosshead guide and all bearings by a gear oil pump within the oil box to realize the forced lubrication. The working condition of the gear oil pump may be understood from the pressure gauge behind the frame. Ⅴ .Charging System To prevent the air lock occurring at low pump inlet pressure, every mud pump is furnished with a complete charging system. It consists of charging pump, pump base, butterfly valve and corresponding manifold. Mounted on the suction manifold of the mud pump, the charging pump is driven by the special purpose motor

or the input shaft of the mud pump through V-belts to reduce the power consumption. NF-1300 and NF-1600 Mud Pumps: 1,F-1300 and F-1600 mud pumps feature advanced structural design, reliable use, easy maintenance and compact occupied area. To reduce drilling workers' labor intensity and to make the operation easy on site, liner is designed to be fitted into the frame from the frame top. A mini hoist with 500Kg lifting capacity is mounted on the frame for disassembling and changing liners. 2,Suction inlets of F-1300 and F-1600 mud pumps are fitted with 12"flanges, 3,F-1300 and F-1600 mud pumps are fitted with API#7 valve pots. The suction valve and the discharge valve are interchangeable. Cylinders are made of forged alloy steel and are nickel plated to improve their corrosion resistance. 4. Three cylinders of each pump are interchangeable. Valve-over-valve (through type cylinder) design reduces the cylinder volume and promotes the volumetric efficiency. Cylinders, liners, pistons, valve and seats, valve springs, seal rings, valve covers and cylinder covers at the fluid end of F-1300 and F-1600 mud pumps are all interchangeable.
