  • Product Name: Campbells Chicken Noodle Soup

    Target Audience: Adults, ages 18-45

    Brief History: Campbell Soup Company has been around for a long time, actually since 1869 to be exact. That is when Joseph Campbell, who was a fruit merchant, and Abraham Anderson, who was an icebox manufacturer, formed the business that would one day become Campbell Soup Company. Its first plant was opened in Camden, New Jersey, which is where it also currently headquartered. Campbells has annual sales of more than $8 billion. It makes a variety of products from soups and other simple meals to snacks and healthy beverages. They own a variety of brands, including the $2.1 billion Campbells brand and also Pepperidge Farms cookies and Goldfish crackers.

    Campbells is driven by its purpose, which is Real food that matters for lifes moments. People trust Campbells to provide good food, but this redesign will be aimed to help to increase sales.

    The Big Idea: Campbells is a very established brand, so this redesign will keep the same color scheme as well as the same basic logo so as to not confuse customers. The problem though is that since the design has been the same for such a long time, it is kind of outdated. To overcome this problem, this redesign will be more visually appealing by changing the design to a more modern feel. This will help to reach to our target audience by appealing to their style, which will then lead to an increase in sells.

  • Style GuideThe color logo will be used in nearly every form of print. The gray scale logo should only be used if necessary, such as a black and white print. Logo should be fairly big in comparison to everything else when using product in some form of print to make sure that audience knows the product is from Campbells. Recommended placement is to center logo and to align everything else with sides of logo.
