PROBLEMS• Swim meets are not entertaining - the usual spectator is a

parent

• Top cash awards for athletes are less than $1500 for a win

• No event or campaign has explicitly called potential youth and adult athletes to the sport

• Few events outside the Olympics & World Championships get much attention

SOLUTION

• Australian Skins (elimination race format)

• Four 50 yard races of each stroke - after each round athletes are eliminated until there is a winner

• Easy to understand for both non-swimmers and competitive swimmers

• Entertainment between events

• Across Age Continuum Relays including youth champions from earlier in the day and favorite Masters

• One bonus event that uses swim training equipment and gear
