Greater efficiency, attractiveness and marketable renovation
can only be achieved through a
holistic and integrated set of technologies,
in which all the different requirements
(energy, structural, functional)
are optimally managed.
- energy and non-energy related benefits-

Innovation/AmbitionMulti-Benefit solutions for:
- Structural-seismic requirements;
- Energy requirements;
- User-orientated requirements.
Simulations modelling using FEM software (EN 1998), performed for different residential buildings, have shown an overall reduction of horizontal displacements of the retrofitted structures with a percentage from the 15% up to the 60% and more.
Energy requirements
As a whole, GET
can be equipped
with several
installation plants
Plug and play
External structures: strengthening by GET structure (2), energy saving and plug-and play plant distribution (1, 4, 6) increased comfort and living areas for residents, additional new units (3).
Innovation/Ambition
User-orientated and market requirements –attractiveness for users

WHERE INNOVATION IS
?
Final remarks
increase the co-benefits of energy renovation,increase the expected lifetime of the buildings, increase the desirability of transformation from users and owners. tostimulate the excellence in energy performance up to the ambitious nZEBs targets in the most inefficient buildings of the modernity (the majority of EU buildings)
INNOVATION/
AMBITION

Legislative change
To achieve nZEB in existing buildings, Public Bodies and Municipalities from Member States should promote non energy related benefits like market and social attractiveness, safeness, urban densification. To do so, they may waive the existing regulations in terms of:
- urban capacity, - standard limits, - ownership constraints related to the land use.
The possibility to make exceptions to the existing local regulative framework shall be closely linked to the maximum exploitation of solutions in terms of energy efficiency (nZEB building) and the minimum environmental impact.

2 Top tips (to submitting a winning proposal) from Pro-GET-onE
• Be visionary, have something you stronglybelieve in and that could make the difference
• Respond to the topics, but go beyond thetopics – i.e. by considering energy and nonenergy related aspects -
