PRINCIPALS REPORT Dear Parents,
Welcome back to the start of a very busy and
exciting term. We have commenced the term
with the Cullinga Cup. The Cullinga Cup is an
annual tennis competition played between the
Year Three to Year Six students, proudly spon-
sored by Wallendbeen Tennis Club. Which
reminds me... the Wallendbeen Tennis Club is
holding their annual Trivia night this weekend,
please get a table together and support this
worthy cause as they support us with free use
of their beautiful facilities and trophies for the
Cullinga Cup. The students have enjoyed
learning the skills of tennis and I have seen an
immediate improvement for most. We will be
running tennis coaching for two weeks.
We are building up to the commencement of
innovative learning program called How2Learn
in 2016. The students develop the skills to
learn their own individual learning styles and
what blocks them. I will be sharing with you in
our newsletter little tips around this program so
you may continue the discussions at home. We
have been working on goal setting and why it is
important. Next, we will be discussing mindset.
This is an exciting researched based program,
gaining a lot of great results for lifelong
learners.
Have a great fortnight.
