Prince Abdullah Bin Mosaad unanimously elected new I.S.S.F President
The I.S.S.F held an Extraordinary General Assembly meeting in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on 4th December 2014 to elect a new president. With the participation of the delegates of 36 national Olympic committees, HRH Prince Abdullah Bin Mosaad Bin ABDULAZIZ was unanimously elected new I.S.S.F President. The Prince is the President of both the General Presidency of Youth Welfare and national Olympic committee in Saudi Arabia. Following his election, he presented his thanks to the General Assembly and Executive Board members for the confidence they place in his personality and experience and for electing him as President of the I.S.S.F which is considered the second largest NOC organization after the IOC. He promised to make his best and continue building on the success of former leaders in the lead up to the realization of the I.S.S.F goals and mission for the ultimate good of youth and athletes in member countries.

I.S.S.F 22nd Executive Board Meeting
Under the chairmanship of Col. Hamad K. Malboum, 1st Vice President, the I.S.S.F Executive Board held its 22nd
meeting in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, 3rd December 2014. The meeting reviewed preparations for the Extraordinary
General Assembly meeting scheduled next day.
The main items of the agenda included the elections of a new I.S.S.F President, final report of the 3rd Islamic Solidarity Games "Indonesia 2013", report of the International Islamic Triathlon championship held in Qatar 2014, report of the 2nd I.S.S.F Weightlifting Championship held in Uganda 2014, the 6th I.S.S.F Sports Medicine and Anti-Doping Course held in Morocco 2014 as well as the I.S.S.F 2015 Program of Activities, the 2nd Islamic Conference of Youth and Sports Ministers and meetings of the OIC and Islamic Youth Council.

I.S.S.F 23rd Executive Board Meeting
Under the chairmanship of HRH Prince Abdullah Bin Mosaad Bin ABDULAZIZ, the newly elected President, the
I.S.S.F Executive Board held its 23rd meeting in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, 4th December 2014. The meeting was
relatively introductory but a decision was made to establish an ad-hoc committee to handle the issue of Israel's
frequent aggression on Palestinian athletes and sport. Members of the committee included Col. Hamad K.
Malboum, 1st Vice President, General Jebril Al-Rajoub, Palestine's Representative on the Board and some EB
members in addition to HRH Prince Talal Bin Badr Bin Saud Bin ABDULAZIZ, President of the Union of Arab
National Olympic Committees. The Committee decided to send an I.S.S.F memorandum on the subject to both
IOC and FIFA Presidents. Also a delegation will meet FIFA President while attending the Club World Cup in
Morocco, December 2014.

President receives delegates of the Turkish Weightlifting Federation.
On the sidelines of the Extraordinary General Assembly meeting, HRH Prince Abdullah Bin Mosaad Bin
ABDULAZIZ, I.S.S.F President, received the delegation of the Turkish Weightlifting Federation on 4th December
2014. Turkey is hosting the 3rd I.S.S.F Weightlifting Championship in 2015. The meeting was attended by Mr.
Faisal A. ALNASSAR, I.S.S.F Secretary General and Mr. Nihat Usta, Board Member.

On the sidelines of the Extraordinary General Assembly meeting, HRH Prince Abdullah Bin Mosaad Bin
ABDULAZIZ, I.S.S.F President, received Mr. Shahrokh SHAHNAZI, Secretary General of the NOC of I.R.I. for a
short cordial meeting. Mr. Faisal A. ALNASSAR, I.S.S.F Secretary General and Mr. Bahram AFSHARZADEH,
I.S.S.F Board Member attended the meeting.

Prince Talal hands protest letter to FIFA President .
While in Morocco for the FIFA Club World Cup in Morocco, December 2014, HRH Prince Talal Bin Badr Bin Saud Bin ABDULAZIZ, President of the Union of Arab National Olympic Committees – an I.S.S.F Observer - met with Mr. Joseph BLATTER FIFA President and handed him three protest letters from the Presidents of I.S.S.F, UANOC and Union of Arab Football Association. The letters requested FIFA to force Israel to stop its continuous aggression on Palestinian sport particularly football. Prince Talal confirmed that Israel's persistent policies of arresting Palestinian football players and officials, breaking into the PFA office, bombing facilities and hindering football activities are some of the violations of the FIFA laws and spirit regularly committed by Israel. He demanded that the subject be included in the agenda of the FIFA Executive Committee meeting in Marrakech with a view to taking an effective action. Mr. Blatter expressed his deep concern about the subject and said that the suffering of Palestinian sport must come to an end soon. The meeting was attended by Sheikh Salman Bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa, President of AFC and General Jebril Al-Rajoub, President of Palestine NOC.

Organizing Committee of 2nd I.S.S.F Prince Nayef Skydiving Championship meets in Riyadh.
The Organizing Committee of 2nd I.S.S.F Prince Nayef Skydiving Championship met in Riyadh on 23/12/2014 to
discuss work progress and preparations. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Faisal A. ALNASSAR, Chairman of the
Organizing Committee and attended by Dr. Mubarak ALSWAILEM Director of the Championship and
representatives of the concerned departments. Eighteen countries confirmed their participation in this
championship which will be held in Riyadh from 14 to 24 January 2015. Recommendation was made that the
departments should have more coordination in the lead up to the event in order to guarantee the required
success. It was also decided to hold a press conference on 11/01/2015 as part of the championship publicity.

The I.S.S.F General Secretariat held a coordination meeting with representatives of the Turkish Weightlifting Federation in Jeddah, 4th December 2014. The meeting discussed work progress and preparations for this championship which will be organized in the Turkish city of Antalya from 10-18 March 2015. Mr. Faisal A. ALNASSAR, Secretary General, Mr. Saeed Abdulghaffar HUSSAIN, Assistant Secretary General and Mr. Nihat USTA, Board Member represented the I.S.S.F while Mr. Tamer TAŞPINAR, President of the Turkish Weightlifting Federation represented the Organizing Committee.

The I.S.S.F Taekwondo Championship, Azerbaijan 2015.
The I.S.S.F General Secretariat held a coordination meeting with representatives of Azerbaijan Taekwondo Federation in Jeddah, 4th December 2014. The meeting discussed work progress and preparations for this championship which will be organized in the Baku from 2-5 April 2015. Mr. Faisal A. ALNASSAR, Secretary General, Mr. Saeed Abdulghaffar HUSSAIN, Assistant Secretary General and Ms. Konul NURULLAYEVA, Board Member represented the I.S.S.F while Mr. Nağı SAFAROV, Vice-President of Azerbaijan Taekwondo Federation represented the Organizing Committee.

The I.S.S.F General Secretariat held a coordination meeting with representatives of South Sumatera Sport Committee in Jeddah, 4th December 2014. The meeting discussed work progress and preparations for this championship which will be organized in the Palembang from 4-11 May 2015. Mr. Faisal A. ALNASSAR, Secretary General and Mr. Saeed Abdulghaffar HUSSAIN, Assistant Secretary General represented the I.S.S.F while Mrs. Maryama BUSTAM, Secretary General of South Sumatera Sports Committee represented the Organizing Committee.

organized in the Malaysian city of Melaka from 1-14 June
