Prime Medical Alert was founded in 2009 to provide an affordable and commitment free alternative to larger, more established providers. Initially, Prime Medical Alert operated primarily through local referral sources and outreach by our founders and initial few employees. Initially, there were a couple of things that stood out to us about the medical alert field the issues that clients were having with getting services. The first was obvi-ously the cost. Though many, many people wanted to use medical alert sys-tems, a lot of fixed income seniors didn’t have the funds to justify spending large amounts of their income per month to have a medical alert system since they were just making ends meet with their current expenses.

At Prime Medical Alert, we have always tried to use our increased purchasing power to lower costs of monitoring and equipment to pass savings on to the customer and increase access to the peace of mind that a medical alert system can bring.
