X-RAY MACHINES
X-Radiation (X-Rays) is a method of taking a photo of the internal
skeletal system of a patient. X-Rays have been around for
decades and have proven vital in diagnosing fractured, broken
or dislocated bones throughout the patient’s body. Prime
MedCare offers many different X-Ray machines from a variety
of manufactures. This allows you and your facility to choose the
one that will best suit your needs and fit into your budget.

MRI SCANNERS
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) machines have become a
staple of modern medicine. By using magnetic and radio waves,
the machines are able to produce images that allow physicians
to evaluate a patient’s anatomy and physiology to determine the
cause(s) of any medical issues that they may be experiencing.
Prime MedCare offers you and your facility a wide range of MRI
machines at a budget that you can afford, aiding your doctor’s
ability to treat patients.
Open MRI Machines produce the same detailed images
and testing as a traditional MRI. However, as opposed
to the traditional MRI, the Open MRI allows for a patient
and a radiologist more freedom during the test. Patient’s
feel more comfortable due the the open nature of the
machine, while the radiologist can make adjustments
to the patient without having to pull them out of the
machine.

BONE DENSITOMETER
Bone Densitometers use Dual-Energy X-Ray
absorptiometry (DXA) to measure the bone mineral
density in a patient. The patient’s bone mineral density
is determined by the amount of energy that the bone
consumes. The bone density is a valuable asset in
determining the severity of a patient’s bone disease,
such as osteoporosis.
Prime MedCare can work with you and your facility
to secure a bone densitometer to allow for better
treatment of bone conditions.
C-ARMS
C-Arms are a more advanced form of X-Ray machine. The C-Arm contains
technology that features an increased brightness of the light that an X-Ray or CT
scan outputs. This increased brightness leads to better results and better photos
than the standard X-Ray or CT Scan, allowing physicians to see greater detail. To
learn more about C-Arms,
and to find makes and
models that fit into your
facility’s budget, contact
a representative.

NUCLEAR MEDICINE CAMERAS
Unlike X-Rays, CTs and MRIs, the idea of a Nuclear
Medicine Camera is not to take a picture from outside
the body, but rather, the inside. Patient’s digest fluids
with small amounts of radiation. Once this fluid is
digested, then a patient is scanned by a Nuclear
Medicine Camera, which detects the radiation that is
being emitted by the patient’s body. The information is
then gathered and forms a 3D model of the inside of a
patient’s body.
ULTRASOUNDS & SONOGRAMS
Ultrasound Machines are a non-invasive form of testing.
The machine is able to detect sounds from the body that
are unable to be heard by the human ear. These sounds
are picked up by the Ultrasound
Machine and then displayed on
a computer screen for analysis.
The results allow physicians to
determine exactly what area of
the body is working incorrectly
and begin a treatment plan.

PROVIDIAN MEDICALMEDICAL EQUIPMENT DIVISION
MAMMOGRAPHY MACHINES
Mammography Machines produce similar images to X-Rays or CT
scans, but rather than resulting in a printed format, Mammography
Machines can display the results directly on a computer screen.
By doing this, Mammography machines have become extremely
valuable in diagnosing tissue disorders, especially for breast cancer
screenings in women.
