Eau de Vie water systems

Eau de Vie systems supply 'real time' fresh filtered water from water delivered by the local mains supply.

At the heart of every system are the unique Eau de Vie SilverSix Filters, part of a wider filtration system that

removes those impurities which often adversely affect water composition and flavour.

The filtered water is then chilled to the required temperature, optionally carbonated and delivered through

a dispense tap (or taps) to provide a constant supply of premium-quality fresh filtered water, chilled still or

sparkling.

Eau de Vie systems were initially developed for the hospitality sector where high expectations for premium quality

drinking water were matched by demanding logistical systems needs.

The only on-site requirements for installation are one 13 amp 3-pin power socket within one metre of the

location, and a cold mains water supply (minimum 3.5 bar pressure) within three metres of the location.

Ice machine Cleaner and Sanitizer

Ice is a food product. Scientific research has also shown that certain bacteria and viruses can survive freezing for many

hours and can also remain capable of growth in very strong alcoholic drinks. It is therefore important that ice does not

become contaminated by airborne particles, food handlers or dirty utensils. The most likely sources of contamination of

ice are inadequate cleaning of the ice making machine or equipment and poor hygiene practices when handling the ice.

The ice storage compartment should be cleaned regularly, at least fortnightly, to prevent the build up of bacteria. It

should be monitored for any growth of scum or slime and if such growths become apparent, it should be immediately

cleaned according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Water Treatment - Base Exchange Water Softeners

Water treatment is essential in order to achieve good washing results. It will reduce detergent consumption to a minimum

and help prevent failure of heating elements and rinse jet blockages, caused by the formation of calcium carbonate (lime

scale) deposits.

Failure to install a water softener where appropriate can affect the machine warranty terms.

Wherever the total hardness of the water exceeds 7° Clark (100 ppm), a base exchange water softener is recommended

for all warewashing machines.

Viso Utensil Washers

The 5 models in the Viso range are designed to wash all manner and sizes of pots and kitchen utensils as well as bakery

trays and tote boxes. With rack sizes from a standard 500mm width to 1320mm wide and extra powerful self draining

wash pumps these machines can remove the most stubborn of soiling.
