the viewer sees Joel’s ‘in the moment’ realisations under a clever series of revealing questions by expert Tony, bringing our subject to question the masked realities of the life he has created. Joel courageously shares deep and personal learnings, speaking honestly about resulting to IVF to conceive a child, sexual repression, and if he ever loved his wife at all. He does this without fear of any backlash. Should he succumb to the expectations of his father, what his friends are doing and get back in line, or follow the feeling burning inside of him, at the cost of hurting his loving wife?

This timely Documentary about how Transformational Life Coaching can help people be true to oneself makes a case for breaking some unquestionable taboos and adds friction from a moral standpoint. In each episode, Joel is trying to work out what the illusion of fame, fortune and freedom means to him at the expense of his health, business and marriage. From the other angle, Tony provides unique wisdom and guidance for the viewer on our subject’s resulting actions and the midlife crisis saga that no one can escape.

Living My Illusion; Joel’s story, pushes the boundaries of documentary form, being a mirror to every person, inviting them to self-reflect on his truth-telling and courageous decisions, and to challenge every societal value he once upheld. and clean mirror from which viewers observe, see, and acknowledge

the knowing within, so that true love can prevail over fear, emotional

desperation, and one sided ego elation.

Joel trained as an actor at The Webber Douglas

Academy of Dramatic Art in London. He performed

on stage in notable venues such at The Globe

Theatre, received critical acclaim for his performance

at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in a production

of Bedtime Stories, and found his true calling in

creating and directing his own productions. He set up

Vandercom Productions and created Living My Illusion

Documentary Film Series with Timea van der Molen

and Tony Jeton Selimi.

Tony is a global thought leader, heart centred

entrepreneur, and the founder of TJS Cognition; a

private research, education and service institution

dedicated to exploring and expanding the frontiers

of human awareness and potential.

His mission is to help men and women of all

her parents hard working attitude in school and

furthered her education with a degree in hospitality

and tourism Management before moving to London.

There she ran the Food and Beverage department

Shoreditch, met Joel who she married and created

a business and life with.
