2015 AND ITS NOVELTIESTHE VERTICALE OF THE EIFFEL TOWER :
Ascent race of the 1,665 steps of the Eiffel Tower in a super-fast race format, timed, on the model of a race against the clock (ski race, for example) - is a particular sporting challenge. And unlike similar events that exist in the world and take place in a closed staircase, the staircase of the Eiffel Tower is completely open to the outside.
THE OTHER NOVELTIES IN THE ECOTRAIL DE PARIS 2015> Return of the Finish of the Trail 80km on the 1st floor of the Eiffel Tower and Finishes of three Trails (50km, 30km, 18km) on the quai Branly
> Establishment of the 13km tourist Nordic Walk and the creation of the challenge of three three Nordic walks in association with Ultra Marin du Golfe du Morbihan and the Euro Nordic Walk Vercors.
> Arrivals of the Hikes and non-timed Nordic walks in the heart of the DestinationsNature Show on Sunday midday.
> Setting up, in partnership with the WWF, of a specific campaign « clean forest and zero waste».

• FOCUS ON FRIENDLY TRANSPORT (public transport, cycling, carpooling, car sharing ...) for moving about.• AVOID WASTE, over packaging, over-consumption (food, paper, equipment ...). Ex. Gourde et non bouteille plastique.• RESPECT THE SOIL carefully following the path laid out by the organizers, which implies not cutting across paths so as to preserve traversed sites.• Do not throw anything on the ground, RESPECT THE WILDLIFE.• PARTICIPATE in sorting waste.• USE PRIORITY toilets available.• Reduce your impact on the environment through SIMPLE AND CONCRETE GESTURES of everyday life. • SENSIBILISER les autres participants, les spectateurs et votre entourage aux ÉCO-GESTES.• To make other participants, spectators and others aware of environmentally FRIENDLY PRACTICES.
• DO NOT CHEAT either before, during or after the race.• DO NOT GIVE YOUR RACE NUMBER to another person or you will be banned from all events organized by EcoTrail Organization.• DO NOT USE ANY doping substance.• RESPECT OTHERS whether the other runners, volunteers but also the spectators / companions crossed during the competition.• For all, the EcoTrail Paris® must be a FESTIVE TIME• EXPLORE LIMITATIONS with respect for oneself, keeping in mind the motto of Pierre de Coubertin : «The important thing is not to win but to take part.»

LA VERTICALE DE LA TOUR EIFFEL, will be dedicated to the ascent of the monument from the square to the summit, that is, 1,665 steps. The event will be held Friday, March 20, 2015 in the evening. The next day, Saturday, March 21, runners in the Trail 80km will for their part finish on the first level of the Eiffel Tower. As more and more Trails offer a vertical mile and stair races are appearing everywhere in the world, the Société d’Exploitation de la Tour Eiffel (SETE) & EcoTrail Organization are innovating by creating the ascent unique in the world of a monument in the open air!

The Trail 50 km
The 80km Trail is the main event of this event and to discover the paths of the Ile de France with the return of the Finish on the 1st level of the Eiffel Tower!
The 50km Trail will offer the possibility to runners registered of discovering a rich cultural heritage (the Palace of Versailles at the national St. Cloud Estate, passing via the Swiss Pond while enjoying Nature since 90% of the route is made up of trails and paths

The Trail 30 km
The 18 km Twin Santé® hauts-de-seine
This race is placed midway between the 18km « Twin Santé® 92 » which proposes discovering Trail without the timekeeping and the longer but also more selective Trails 50 and 80 km. It is ideal for those starting test themselves on long-distance Trails. These riders will be able to test themselves on a still accessible distance without too great preparation.
In the spirit of conviviality which is part of Trail, the 18km (TwinSanté® 92) gives the opportunity to discover the Trail specificities without the pressure of the chronometer and in pairs so to foster the spirit of conviviality and sharing.

Taking the route of the 30km Trail, «The Timed» first entered the competition formats offered by the EcoTrail IDF® of Paris. In its 3rd edition. A 30km Nordic Walk establishes a final rankingfor its participants.More sportive than the « Hikes », Nordic Marches are practiced at a faster pace and with sticks.

The organization has developed many tools to monitor the evolutionof each event in real time
> Track runners through NEXXTEP and LIVE TRAIL. Through tracking solutions, runners’ relatives can follow the race of their favourite racer.
> Live the race from the inside by listening to Radio Ecotrail ! For 4 days, the webradio of EcoTrail of Paris will set up its two studios in the heart of the action. Partnering with the Salon Destination Nature and the Studio École de France, get access to the interviews of our partners, the races live and themed programmes on the mobile application and the website of ÉcoTrail of Paris and of the Salon Destination Nature.
> In 2015, AUSY continues its partnership as «Official IT supplier» of EcoTrail Paris® and out of this year comes a new app even more intuitive and user-friendly. This free app will be available on Android and iOS blinds. It is essential to support the runners and their supporters. Fluid and dynamic, it is the perfect tool for finding out about, following and living races in real-time with different features such as latest news, practical information about the race, games ...
