Spherical Powders Spherical powders enhance the slip and feel of products, help provide uniform application, exceptional flow, spreading and lubricity. These materials are available with various levels of oil absorbing capacity. They produce a soft focus effect to minimize the appearance of fine lines. While typically used in color cosmetics, these powders have also been useful in skin care. Suggested use levels 1-15%.

Royal Pearl Plus Polyurethane-16, Silica Highly lubricious, great soft focus properties, unique velvet-like texture, and moderate oil absorption. Currently offered in two grades: UB-17, UB-26. Applications: color cosmetics, sun care, and skin care.

Hybrid Powders Hybrid powders have been proven effective to improve the properties of mica, particularly in the areas of color, feel, light stability, and providing light diffusion properties, such as soft focus. The soft focus effect is useful in skin care products, particularly anti-aging products. Suggested use levels 1-50%.


SM-2000 Mica, Silica Hybrid powder with low oil absorption, silky feel, matte finish, 2-15 m. Applications: foundations, eye shadows, lipsticks, blushes, and personal care products.

SM-4000 R Mica, Silica Hybrid powder with a smooth feel, moderate oil absorption, 2-15 m. Applications: foundations, eye shadows, lipsticks, blushes, and personal care products.

SP-29 UVS Bismuth Oxychloride, Mica, Silica

Hybrid powder with a low oil absorption, creamy feel, high coverage, matte finish, long wear, 1-20 m. Applications: foundations, eye shadows, lipsticks, blushes, and personal care products.

Sphericite Mica, Methyl Methacrylate Crosspolymer

Hybrid powder with a creamy feel, matte finish, 4-15 m. Applications: foundations, eye shadows, lipsticks, blushes, and personal care products.


Mineral Powders Mineral powders are natural and mineral guaranteed. They offer asbestos-free, GMO-free, solvent-free, and low impurity levels along with excellent transparency, skin adhesion and a creamy feel. These materials enhance the slip and can be used to improve the pressibility or as a talc replacement. Suggested use levels 10-90%.


LMK-100 Talc Jet-milled talc with a creamy feel, matte finish, good slip, and average particle size of 6m. Applications: color cosmetics, skin care, sun care, and personal care products.

NK-48 Talc Economical talc with a soft, smooth feel, skin adhesion, spreadability, and good transparency, average particle size 26 m. Applications: color cosmetics, skin care, sun care, and personal care.

PKP-53 Talc Economical talc with a soft, smooth feel, skin adhesion, spreadability, and good transparency, average particle size 26m. Applications: color cosmetics, skin care, sun care, and personal care products.

Sericite PHN Mica

100% Natural mined mineral mica. Smooth grayish powder, matte finish, and cost effective. Moderate oil absorption. Average particle size: 3-5m. Applications: color cosmetics, skin care, sun care, and personal care.

Surface Treated Powders Our surface treatment renders the powders either hydrophobic or hydrophilic. These modifications enhance the skin feel, wear properties, skin adhesion, and dispersibility. Suggested use levels 1-30%.

Spheron P-1500-030 Silica, Methicone Hydrophobic surface, smooth feel, matte finish, moderate oil absorption, average particle size 2-15m. Applications: color cosmetics, sun care, and skin care.


Surface Treated Pigments Surface treated iron oxides provide a functional aspect to formulations. By improving the dispersibility into the aqueous or oil/silicone phase one can achieve high pigment loads by evenly distributing the particle size in the medium. You will still need to pre-disperse the pigments into their media but you no longer need to use a colloid or roller miller. A homogenizer gives the formula efficient energy to completely disperse the iron oxides saving time in manufacturing. Suggested use levels 0.1-10%.

Bismuth Oxychloride Bismuth Oxychloride pearl pigments provide pearlescent effects as well as excellent adhesion and wear characteristics. UV stabilized grades are available. Suggested use levels 5-50%.

Extracts from the three most beautiful fruits in the world: Mango (India), Mangosteen (Thailand), and Cherimoya (Mexico). Beautifruit has excellent cell activation effects and the ability to scavenge active oxygen to combat skin aging. Recommended use level: 2.5-5.0%.

Coral Grass Salicornia Herbacea Extract

Extract from the Japanese plant known as Sangosa or Coral Grass. Used to treat rough dry skin and restore the skins barrier function. Recommended use level: 5.0%. Japanese Quasi-Drug.

Inflan-ATM Water, Gentiana Lutea Extract

A naturally fermented product grown in the Alpine region between France and Spain. Used for anti-irritation, protects against UV damage and chemical stresses. Recommended use level: 3.0-5.0%. Japanese Quasi-Drug.

Tanosa Tabebuia Impetiginosa Bark Extract

Extract from the bark of Pau darco, the national tree of Brazil. Used to suppress inflammation and enhance skin resistance to environmental stresses. Recommended use level: 2.5-10.0%. Japanese Quasi-Drug.

SiClone - Sunscreen Dispersion This patent-pending Titanium Dioxide dispersion contains 40% TiO2 fully dispersed in Presperse's combination of non-silicone hydrocarbons. By carefully selecting the carrier fluids and titanium dioxide used, Presperse is able to provide a very fluid, stable product without the use of dispersing agents, exhibiting excellent transparency and efficiency when compared to traditional dispersions.


SiClone TD-150

Titanium Dioxide, Isohexadecane, Isododecane, C13-15 Alkane, Aluminum Hydroxide, Isostearic Acid, C18-21 Alkane

UV protection in a fluid, silicone-free, highly stable dispersion providing superior transparency, broad UV shielding and a high (40%) concentration of TiO2. Applications: sunscreens, daily wear skin care products, color cosmetics.

Skin Lightening Agents Skin whitening / lightening agents that effectively inhibit tyrosinase activity and can eliminate dark spots and freckles while providing an even coloration to the skin.


Grasnow AE Hydrolyzed Rice Bran Extract

Permethyl Aliphatic Hydrocarbons The Permethyl products are a group of unique, highly branched-chain, aliphatic hydrocarbons that produce a variety of skin feel and film forming properties. They act as emollients as well as co-solubolizers for non-hydrocarbon materials. The Permethyls can be used alone or in blends as replacements for cyclomethicones. These products are non-comedogenic, compatible with silicones, cosmetic esters and oils, and are globally used in skin care, sun care, hair care, cleansing products, and color cosmetics.


Permethyl 99A Isododecane

A moderately volatile, silicone-free emollient which leave no residue. Provides a light, non-oily feel, with excellent solvency. Combinable with other Permethyls products to achieve targeted evaporation rates. Viscosity approx. 1 cps. Applications: hair care, sun care, skin care, antiperspirants, color cosmetics and fragrance products.

Permethyl 101A Isohexadecane

Highly emollient, easy spreading moisturizer that leaves a soft, non-drying feel on the skin. Excellent cleaning properties based on its high solubility potential for skin lipids. Slightly volatile and provides slip with a light, smooth feel. Applications: skin care, cleansers, sun care, hair care, color cosmetics, bath oils, and make up removers.

Permethyl 102A Isoeicosane

Suitable replacement for mineral oil in oil-free products. Provides a satiny feel to the skin. Effective plasticizer for mascaras. Produces high sheen. Viscosity approx. 16 cps. Applications: skin care, hair care, sun care, color cosmetics.

Permethyl 103A Hydrogenated Polyisobutene

A clear, viscous liquid with outstanding aesthetics, waterproofing properties, and moisturizing abilities. Applications: skin care, cleansers, sun care, hair care, color cosmetics, bath oils and make-up removers.

Permethyl 104A Polyisobutene

Highly occlusive, excellent coverage and barrier properties, improves wear and shine of lipsticks and glosses. Can be combined with other Permethyls to balance film forming properties and application aesthetics. Applications: lip products, sun care, skin care, color cosmetics, hair care.

Permethyl 216C C18-21 Alkane, Isohexadecane

An excellent cleanser and moisturizer which provide good shine enhancement for hair products, a silky after feel in creams and lotions and increases playtime in color cosmetics. Applications: hair care, skin care, color cosmetics.

Permethyl 246C C18-21 Alkane, Polyisobutene

Deeply moisturizing, provides film formation and cushion and also improves barrier properties to protect the skin from outside aggressors and dehydration. Applications: bath products, spa products, therapeutic creams, lipsticks.

Moisturizing GelsThe Zilgel products are clear, polyacrylic moisturizing gels, which are non-drying, provide excellent lubrication, form a permeable film, are non-animal derived, and Japan approved.


Zilgel Oil Glycerin, Water, Sodium Polyacrylate, PVM/MA Copolymer

Highly moisturizing liquid that provides extremely high slip. Viscosity: 600-1600 cps. Recommended use level: 5-25%. Applications: color cosmetics, hairstyling products, skin care, sun care, and personal care products.

Zilgel SM Glycerin, Water, Sodium Polyacrylate

Highly moisturizing, non-drying gel with great feel and wear properties. Viscosity: >250,000 cps. Recommended use level: 5%-95%. Applications: color cosmetics, hairstyling products, skin care, sun care, and personal care products.

Zilgel VV Glycerin, Water, Sodium Polyacrylate

Highly moisturizing, non-drying gel with great feel and wear properties. Viscosity: 900,000-1,300,000 cps. Recommended use level: 5%-95%. Applications: color cosmetics, hairstyling products, skin care, sun care, and personal care products.

SiClone- Volatile Silicone ReplacementVolatility, slip, cushion and overall aesthetics each play an important role in formulating. All these key attributes have now been combined into one patent pending cosmetic fluid, SiClone SR-5. This volatile silicone replacement has been developed in response to the growing demand in the marketplace for a 100% silicone free product that is indistinguishable from D5 fluids. Now formulators have a choice, and that choice is SiClone SR-5.
