It will be the 50th episode of the
monthly radio programme. In a
tweet, Shri Modi said, this month's
'Mann Ki Baat' is special as the
programme completes 50 episodes.

that, the children will carry
out a project on a particular
topic in relation to theme
and sub-theme decided for

year 2018 is 'Science,
technology and innovation
for clean, green and healthy
nation'.
The CSC programme is
not only for the school
going children, but it is also
open for the children
outside the formal
boundary of schools in the
age group of 10 to 17 years

considered as junior group

senior group).

Islands invites quotations in sealed cover from the Registered Travel Agencies/any
Contractor for hiring of 1 (One) car i.e Scorpio, Bolero or similar other make on
monthly rental basis for a period of one year from the date of signing of
agreement. The last date for receipt of sealed quotations is 29.11.2018 before
4 pm. The bid shall be opened at 4 pm on 29.11.2018 by the Vehicle Hiring
Committee in the office of the Employees Provident Fund Organisation, Regional
Office, Port Blair. One representative of each bidder will be permitted to present if
any so desire.
BID DETAILS
A. The vehicle offered should preferably be 2015 or later model. Preference will
be given to new car with white colour.
B. The vehicle will generally be required on all working days i.e (Monday to
Friday) from 8.30 am to 6.30 pm. However, it can be summoned for official
purpose beyond working hours and also on Saturday & Sunday/Gazetted Holiday
on need basis.
C. The vehicle will generally be required for travel within Port Blair but can also
be required to travel outside Port Blair on official purposes on need basis.
D. The quotation should be given as monthly rental for a minimum usage of 260
hrs. alongwith minimum kilometre commitment inclusive in the monthly rental.
E. Rate for extra km beyond the above shall be separately specified. The rates
quoted will be inclusive of all taxes, levies, cesses etc. except specifically provided
and otherwise.
F. All quotations shall be accompanied by an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD)
of Rs. 5000/- by Demand Draft in favour of the Assistant Provident Fund
Commissioner, Employees Provident Fund Organisation, Regional Office, Port
Blair. The EMD will be refunded to the unsuccessful bidders.
