How do we make the Tenses

Present Simple

• I read a book He reads a book

• I don´t read a book He doesn´t read a book Do you read a book? Yes, I do/ No, I don´t

Does he read a book? Yes, he does/ No, he doesn´t

Present Continuous• I am reading a book He is reading a book

• I´m not reading a book He isn´t reading a book

• Are you reading a book? Yes, I am/ No, I´m not

• Is he reading a book? Yes, he is/ No, he isn´t

We use Present Simple

• With frequency adverbs: Often, always, never, usually,sometimes Eg: I always go to school. With frequency expressions: Once a week, twice a month, three times a year. Every day, every month…

Eg: I clean my room every Sunday.

We use Present Continuous

• With:• at the moment, now, right now, today, Look! etc.

Eg: I am studying English now. I am reading a book at the moment Look! He is playing football
