Main brand page
There will be one main global brand page
Local fans are directed to a local page for a local experience
The brand can use the global page as the main page
Local page
Local pages have their own timeline, profile and cover photo’s, its own insights etc.
All this can be in addition to what the global page already has
Local pages can be created for a region i.e country, part of a country or a group of countries
How does it work..?
Create region specific pages and add these pages to the global page structure
Facebook will migrate all fans to the best local page for them
You can keep the fans mapped to the existing pages
How does it work..?
Page insights will be different for local and global pages
Local pages will have the insights for that particular page
Global page will have aggregated insights from all brand pages
Global page admins do not have access to local page
Advantages of the global page feature
Helps communicate to fans at a global as well as a local level
Allows better targeting
Can assess the insights for different regions by creating separate pages for these regions
