Activity 9From the airport

Airport Express – Shuttle bus to major downtown hotels. Every 30 minutes. Cost $8.50 per

person.

Taxi – cabs to downtown area are around $22 to $25 on the meter. (More in heavy traffic)

This is cheaper if there are three or four people in your party.

Airport Limousine – Air limo has a 24-hour service to and from the airport. Flat rate of

$26 to downtown area.

Public transit buses – take the #100 Port Coquitlam Center / New Westminster Station bus,

and transfer at 70th Street to the #20 Victoria route. $1.25 to $2.50 per person

You’ve just had the worst traveling experience in your life. You bought the package at a well-known travel Agency. You are absolutely furious and you want somebody at the travel agency to listen to all the problems you had, and give you your money back.

Travel Agent

You are talking to a new client who had a disastrous experience with a package he bought at your agency. He is furious. He wants you to listen to him, and to get his money back. This last thing is impossible, so try to calm him down by listening to him carefully. Show him interest. Ask him questions about what happened and suggest alternative solutions, like a discount on a future trip.
