Australia desperately needs a master national address management strategy that provides:

A unique persistent identifier for every primary and sub address related to all land parcels that is recognised as the official address record.

Open Data access to the official address record such that business processes and applications can exchange address data with confidence.

Opportunity for innovation and value adding in the location based services industry to the wider market.
