WIKC would like to thank everyone for HELPING to make our show a success!

In Washington, we have very strict limitations to hold a companion animal event. We must run our shows according to the Phase 2 Agricultural Events Covid 19 Requirements. The cooperation of everyone who intends on attending our shows is expected. If you are uncomfortable despite the precautions we are taking, please do not enter - stay home. All participants agree to adhere to the applicable state, county, facility, and kennel club guidelines that are in place at this event. Participants agree to assume responsibility for themselves and their own staff. Please review and follow these guidelines:

DAILY SELF CHECK: IF YOU ARE EXHIBITING SYMPTONS OF COVID-19, RUNNING A FEVER, COUGHING, SNEEZING, HAVE LOSS OF SENSE OF SMELL OR TASTE, ACUTE RESPIRATORY ILLNESS CONSISTENT WITH COVID-19, PLEASE STAY HOME.

WASHINGTON IS CURRENTLY A MANDATORY MASK STATE. MASKS ARE REQUIRED IN ALL VENUES, ALL RINGS AND AT RINGSIDE. ONCE YOU LEAVE YOUR PERSONAL VEHICLE, STALL OR RV, YOU MUST WEAR YOUR MASK, COVERING BOTH YOUR NOSE & MOUTH. SIGNS WILL BE POSTED AT ENTRANCES REMINDING THAT MASKS ARE REQUIRED. • WE ARE NOT ALLOWING THE GENERAL PUBLIC TO OUR SHOWS. PLEASE HAVE PROOF OF ENTRY (ENTRY CONFIRMATION, ETC.) AVAILABLE UPON ARRIVAL WHEN YOU PROCEED TO PICK UP ARMBANDS AND WRISTBANDS.

• YOU WILL RECEIVE A WRISTBAND TO BE WORN DURING OUR SHOW WEEKEND. PROFESSIONAL HANDLERS MAY REQUEST ONE EXTRA WRISTBAND FOR AN ASSISTANT TO EXHIBIT, AND CHANGE OUT DOGS TO AVOID CONFLICTS SO LONG AS THEY DON’T EXCEED INDOOR NUMBERS.

• KNOW YOUR ARMSBAND NUMBER, AS THERE WILL BE NO PUBLIC CATALOG AT RINGSIDE AVAILABLE FOR LOOK-UP. PLEASE BE AWARE OF YOUR ESTIMATED RING TIME. IF YOU ARE AN EXHIBITOR YOU MUST WEAR AN ARMBAND TO BE AT RINGSIDE. LARGE CLASSES MAY BE SPLIT INTO LOTS TO MAINTAIN PHYSICAL DISTANCING.

• TO AVOID CONGREGATION: CATALOGS, RESERVED GROOMING AND RESERVED OVERNIGHT PARKING ARE AVAILABLE BY PRE-REGISTRATION ONLINE. BRING EXTRA PERSONAL EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES. THERE WILL BE, PER PHASE 2 AG EVENTS, NO VENDORS AT THIS SHOW.

• ARMBANDS, WRISTBANDS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR WIKC BEGINNING ON FRIDAY FROM 4-7PM AT DESIGNATED TABLES IN THE #100 HORSE ARENA BLDG. COPIES OF JUDGING SCHEDULES WILL BE POSTED AT OUTSIDE ENTRY DOORS/GATES. SAT/SUN ARMBANDS NOT PICKED UP ON FRIDAY (4-7PM) WILL BE AT A TABLE JUST INSIDE THE ARENA (#100 BLDG) BEGINNING AT 7:30AM. THE SAME ARMBAND WILL BE USED FOR BOTH DAYS. MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCING WHILE WAITING TO PICK UP ARM AND WRISTBANDS. STAFF WILL WEAR IDENTIFYING WRISTBANDS.

• WE ARE LIMITED TO 50 (FIFTY) EXHIBITORS OR LESS IN ANY INDOOR VENUE AT ONE TIME, NOT INCLUDING SHOW STAFF. WEARING A WRIST BAND IS REQUIRED TO ENTER THE ARENA FLOOR AND WITHIN THE 200 BLDG. GRANDSTANDS. THIS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED IN ORDER TO MEET THE CURRENT 50 EXHIBITOR LIMIT. IT WILL BE CRUCIAL YOU LEAVE ANY INDOOR VENUE ONCE YOUR ANIMAL IS NO LONGER NEEDED FOR FURTHER JUDGING.

• ONLY ONE GROUP WILL BE RUN AT A TIME TO ACCOMMODATE THE RULE OF 50. FIFTEEN MINUTES MINIMUM WILL BE ALLOWED BETWEEN GROUPS TO EXCHANGE DOGS. AGAIN, REMEMBER THERE CURRENTLY IS NO RINGSIDE SPECTATING ALLOWED DURING PHASE 2.

• TEMPORARY RING SIDE STAGING/CRATING WILL BE IN DESIGNATED AREAS ONLY. WIKC RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REDUCE IN SIZE, ELIMINATE, OR RESTRICT THE USE OF ANY AREA DESIGNATED FOR TEMPORARY RINGSIDE CRATING. ALL CRATES AND CARTS MUST BE KEPT IN STAGING AREA AND MOVED IMMEDIATELY AFTER YOUR BREED IS DONE JUDGING. FOLLOW DIRECTIONS FROM


STEWARD. USE 6’ SPACING MARKERS IN RING. USE RING IN/OUT GATES. BE OBSERVANT, JUDGES AND STEWARDS WILL BE WORKING FROM SEPARATE TABLES.

• ABSOLUTELY NO GROOMING AT RINGSIDE - NO TABLES, SPRAY BOTTLES, ETC AT RINGSIDE. BRUSH/COMB TO TOUCHUP ONLY. BRING YOUR DOGS READY TO SHOW.

• THERE WILL BE (ONLINE RESERVED) HORSE STALLS AND LIMITED DAY AREAS AVAILABLE TO MAINTAIN ANIMAL WELFARE FROM ANY INCLEMENT WEATHER CONDITIONS. GROOMING IS ONLY ALLOWED WITHIN HORSE STALLS IN DESIGNATED AREAS OF SHOW LIMITS. BLOWERS CAN ONLY BE USED AT A RV SITE OR FROM YOUR VEHICLE. ONE LOW-WATTAGE HANDHELD DRYER IS PERMISSIBLE PER STALL. DO FULL BODY BATHING AND DRYING AT HOME. OUTLETS MUST BE SHARED! KEEP STALL DOORS CLOSED WHILE OCCUPIED TO MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCING.

• STALLS MUST BE LEFT IN THE CONDITION IN WHICH THEY WERE FOUND. NO DOG WASTE, URINE, OR OTHER DEBRIS (INCLUDING HUMAN LITTER OR DOG HAIR).

• JUNIOR HANDLING: PARTICIPANTS THAT ARE MINORS MAY BE ACCOMPANIED BY ONE ADULT.

• HAND SANITIZING STATIONS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT EACH RING AND ENTRANCES TO SHOW BUILDINGS. PLEASE USE SANITIZER WHEN ENTERING/LEAVING BUILDINGS. WE RECOMMEND YOU ALSO BRING SANITIZER TO USE IN GROOMING AND RV AREAS. WASH HANDS FREQUENTLY.

ATTENTION EXHIBITORS• The gates will be open at Noon Friday and the grounds must be cleared immediately after judging

of Best in Show on Sunday. Gates will close at 11:00PM on Friday and Saturday evenings and reopen at 6:30AM Saturday and Sunday mornings.

• No grooming set-ups until 12:00 Noon - Friday.• There shall be NO dog bowls and equipment cleaned in toilets and water fountains in the rest

rooms. You must clean your dog bowls and equipment at the outside spigots.• Under NO conditions, will exercise pens be allowed in the Main Arena (100) or Building 200. • Crates may only be at designated area during exhibition. Space must be left all times for social

distancing.• Dogs must be ready to go into the ring; there will be NO FULL GROOMING by the ring: TOUCH UP

grooming is permissible.• Exhibitors are responsible for their own clean up outside the rings, this includes dog feces.• Owners must have complete control of their dogs at all times. Flexi leads are not allowed in the

show area.• No dogs may be left in any building overnight.• FAILURE TO ADHERE to these show rules may result in a BENCH SHOW HEARING. • No vehicles (except Club Golf Carts) allowed within the show limits, during show hours.

BEST OF BREED (VARIETY) COMPETITION SELECT DOG SELECT BITCHThe following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed (Variety) Competition: Dogs that are Champions of Record and dogs which according to their owner’s records, have com-pleted the requirements for a championship, but whose championships are unconfirmed. The entry and showing of dogs whose championships are unconfirmed is limited to a period of 90 days from the date of the show where a dog completed the requirements for a championship according to the owners’ records. If at the end of the 90 day period the championship of a dog has not been confirmed by the American Kennel Club, no further entries of the dog for Best of Breed competition are to be made until its championship has been confirmed by AKC.

JUNIOR SHOWMANSHIP COMPETITION

NOVICE CLASS: For boys and girls who are at least 9 years old and under 18 years old on the day of the show and who at the time entries close have not won three (3) first place awards, with competition present, in a Novice Class. A first place in Novice without competition leading to a Best Junior award with competition would count as one win towards moving to Open at a licensed or member show.

OPEN CLASS: For boys and girls who are at least 9 years old and under 18 years old on the day of the show, and who have won three first place awards in a Novice Class or if a win in Novice leads to a Best Junior with competition present it will count as one win towards moving to Open in a licensed or member show. Juniors which according to their records have completed the requirements to compete in the Open class but whose status is unconfirmed by the American Kennel Club are limited to competing in the Open Class for a period of 90 days from the date of the show where the Junior completed the requirements according to their records.

MASTER CLASS: This class will be for boys and girls who are at least 9 years old and under 18 years on the day of the show, and who have 10 Best Junior wins with competition. The calendar for this class will be consistent with the eligibility dates for the AKC National Championship. All Juniors meeting the criteria for this class are required to enter the Master Class and may change their entry the day of the show if entries have already closed. Once the eligibility time frame for that year has passed all participants return to the Open Class to compete for the following year.

NOVICE AND OPEN CLASS DIVIDED: Junior-9 years old and under 12 years old on the day of the show; Intermediate-12 years old and under 15 years old on the day of the show; Senior-15 years old and under 18 years old on the day of the show.After the judge has awarded the Best Junior Handler, the second place winner from the class that the Junior was awarded Best Junior Handler is to return to the ring to compete for Reserve Best Junior Handler.NOTICE: Junior Handlers must include their AKC JUNIOR HANDLER NUMBER on each entry. You may obtain your junior identification number by calling the AKC, Judges Education Department, 919-233-9767. BE SURE ALL INFORMATION for Junior Showmanship Classes is entered on front and back of entry form.NOTE: SUBSTITUTION OF DOG IN JUNIOR SHOWMANSHIP AT THE SHOW(S): There will be an Ad-ministration Fee of $5.00 charged for any substitution of dog in Junior Showmanship at each show. USE OF RAMPS – ALL BREEDSA judge requesting the use of a ramp must give notice to the show superintendent/show secretary prior

to judging. AKC approval is not required. The entire entry in a breed is to be examined in the same manner (ground, table, or ramp).

At the discretion of the judge through all levels of competition, the following breeds may be judged on the ground, a ramp, or on a table: Boykin Spaniels and Whippets.

The following breeds must be judged on a ramp through all levels of conformation competition: Clumber Spaniels, Sussex Spaniels, Basset Hounds, Cirneco dell’Etnas, Bulldogs, Chinese Shar-Pei, Chow Chows, and Keeshonden.

This extends to all conformation competition at AKC conformation dog shows and any AKC event where a conformation title may be earned. This policy includes Group, BIS, Junior Showmanship, the 4–6 Month Beginner Puppy Competition, the AKC National Owner-Handled Series (NOHS), and all other special attractions that offer Group and BIS competitions. Ramps can be used in emergency situation to judge any breed.

In an emergency situation, where use of a ramp is not indicated in the premium list, an exhibitor has the option of withdrawing their entry and receiving a refund. For the judging of juniors the ramp may be used at the discretion of the judge for the ramp optional breeds. (06/2020)

PAID RESERVED SPACE WITH SHARED ELECTRICAL OUTLETS IS LIMITED.Grooming spaces will be awarded on a FIRST-COME, FIRST SERVED reservation basis. Space selection coordination will be completed via email/text/telephone in sequence. The sequence will be established by:

(1) Email date of a RESERVED GROOMING APPLICATION facsimile including all required information to [email protected] and Paypal payment to [email protected] for $40 per space, or

(2) USPS postmark to WIKC, c/o Harry Clark, 4300 Camano Ct NE, Lacey, WA 98516 of the attached RESERVED GROOMING APPLICATION with a check for $40 per space.

Reserved Grooming will be in Horse Barns 102 & 103. Stalls are matted and have limited electricity. Applicants in sequence will be assigned space based on building preference as stated in the application until the building is full. The remaining building will be filled from the front to back of the building to complete the sequence.

The Show Committee reserves the right to assign all reserved grooming spaces. Reserved Grooming spaces will be accessible on Friday, at 12:00PM (noon). No dogs will be left overnight in reserved or day of show grooming areas. WIKC will not be responsible for any belongings left unattended.

IF RESERVATION FEE IS NOT PAID, SPACE WILL NOT BE RESERVED.

Reserved Grooming Fee: 10 x 10 space (approximate) at $40.00 per space.

If Junior Handler is not the owner of the dog identified on the face of this form, what is the relationship of the Junior Handler to the Owner?

1. (Variety) if you are entering a dog of breed in which there are varieties for show purposes, please designate the particular variety you areentering, i.e., Cocker Spaniel (solid color black, ASCOB, parti-color), Beagles (not exceeding 13 in., over 13 in. but not exceeding 15 in.), Dachshunds (longhaired, smooth, wirehaired), Collies (rough, smooth), Bull Terriers (colored, white), Manchester Terriers(standard, toy), Chihuahuas (smooth coat, long coat), English Toy Spaniels (King Charles and Ruby, Blenheim and Prince Charles), Poodles (toy, miniature, standard).

2. The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed competition: Dogs that are Champions of Record and dogs which, according to their owners’ records, have completed the requirements for a championship, but whose championships are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed competition is limited to a period of 90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship.

3. (Event Class) Consult the classification in this premium list. If the event class in which you are entering your dog is divided, then, inaddition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are entering your dog, i.e, age division, color division, weight division.

4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for an event closed. If a registered dog has been acquired by a new owner it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any event for which entries closed after the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his/her name. State on entry form whether transfer application has been mailed to the AKC. (For complete rules, refer to Chapter 11, Section 3.)

5. Mixed Breed dogs entering classes for Agility, Obedience, and Rally trials should mark Breed as “All-American Dog/Mixed Breed.” Sire and Dam information shall remain blank for mixed breed entrants.

1. (Variety) if you are entering a dog of breed in which there are varieties for show purposes, please designate the particular variety you areentering, i.e., Cocker Spaniel (solid color black, ASCOB, parti-color), Beagles (not exceeding 13 in., over 13 in. but not exceeding 15 in.), Dachshunds (longhaired, smooth, wirehaired), Collies (rough, smooth), Bull Terriers (colored, white), Manchester Terriers(standard, toy), Chihuahuas (smooth coat, long coat), English Toy Spaniels (King Charles and Ruby, Blenheim and Prince Charles), Poodles (toy, miniature, standard).

2. The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed competition: Dogs that are Champions of Record and dogs which, according to their owners’ records, have completed the requirements for a championship, but whose championships are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed competition is limited to a period of 90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship.

3. (Event Class) Consult the classification in this premium list. If the event class in which you are entering your dog is divided, then, inaddition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are entering your dog, i.e, age division, color division, weight division.

4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for an event closed. If a registered dog has been acquired by a new owner it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any event for which entries closed after the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his/her name. State on entry form whether transfer application has been mailed to the AKC. (For complete rules, refer to Chapter 11, Section 3.)

5. Mixed Breed dogs entering classes for Agility, Obedience, and Rally trials should mark Breed as “All-American Dog/Mixed Breed.” Sire and Dam information shall remain blank for mixed breed entrants.

NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS – ALL EVENTS

The American Kennel Club Rules and Regulations will govern this Show and Exhibitors must make themselves familiar with the agreement of the American Kennel Club, referred to on the reverse side of the entry blanks that accompany this Show Premium List.

• The American Kennel Club will collect: a $3.00 Event Service Fee and $.50 Recording Fee where applicable for the first entry of a dog, plus a $3.00 service fee for each additional entry of the same dog in the regular and non-regular recordable single-entry classes, in all AKC licensed and member club events. At every licensed or member club rally trial, a recording fee of $3.50 is required for the first entry of each dog and a recording fee of $3.00 is required for each additional entry of the same dog.

• No Entry will be accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance. Telegraph, e-mail and unsigned entries cannot be accepted and will be returned. Entries not on Official AKC Entry Forms and Photocopies of Entry Forms without Agreement and Rules on reverse side are NOT ACCEPTABLE. The Club and/or Baray Events assumes no responsibility for wrong or incomplete information given on the entry blank by the owner or the owner’s agent. RESPONSIBILITY FOR COMPLETENESS OF ENTRY RESTS SOLELY WITH ENTRANT.

• RETURNED CHECKS DO NOT CONSTITUTE A VALID ENTRY FEE. BaRay Events will add a $30.00 collection fee to the amount of each returned check. We will not re-process checks. The exhibitor will be contacted & required to send a money order for the original amount PLUS the $30.00 NSF fee. Subsequent returned checks from same person may result in their being put on a CASH ONLY BASIS.

• REFUNDS for cancellations due to judge change or cancellations made prior to entries closing will be mailed by the Club to said Exhibitor or Agent AFTER THE SHOW. An administrative fee of $5.00 will be withheld from all refunds for entries cancelled prior to the closing of entries.

• Females in season are not permitted to compete in Obedience or Rally Trials. If a female is withdrawn from competition because it came into season and the Superintendent is notified no later than one half hour prior to the start of the first class in the trial, the Clubs is required to refund the entry fee. The Clubs may retain a processing fee and must publish this information in the premium. Clubs may determine the documentation, if any that is required to confirm the female is in season. This shall be stated in the premium. Note: No fee is paid to the AKC for females in season who are withdrawn.

• FAX ENTRIES – Fax entries will be accepted up to closing time. Fee is $4.00 per dog per show. If the credit card charge is denied for any reason, an additional service charge of $20.00 will be added. FAX NUMBER: (360) 755-2248. This is for Fax Machine ONLY. Incomplete or illegible Fax entries are not acceptable as a valid entry in a show. Proof of transmission is not proof of receipt of a legible or complete transmission (under AKC Rule Ch. 11, Sec. 4). • Entries will be acknowledged after entries close with entry acknowledgment and judging program to address on entry. Should Exhibitor NOT receive an acknowledgment within a reasonable time, PLEASE notify BaRay Events at 360-755-7086 or email [email protected].

• Entry fees shall NOT be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, sick, lame, excused by the Judge or Veterinarian, or barred from competition by action of the Show Committee, or because it has been entered incorrectly. There is no refund for DUPLICATE ENTRIES or OVERPAYMENTS. If, because of riots, civil disturbances or other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open, or to complete the Show NO REFUND will be made. • Please note: Any hotel or motel listed in the premium list is subject to Event Committee Rules. We expect our exhibitors to be responsible guests. A report that an exhibitor at this show has abused hotel or motel property during this weekend may result in disciplinary action. Clubs reserve the right to decline future entries from the offending party in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 11, Section 15 of the Rules Applying to Dog Shows.

• Dogs need be present only for scheduled judging and will be released if not needed for further judging. Dogs must be ready for judging. Neither the club nor its Superintendent will be responsible or obligated to furnish any service for notifying exhibitors or their agents of Breed or Class Judging. Judges need not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging rings.

• Only dogs eligible for these shows will be admitted into the show area. There is no provision for unentered dogs.• LOSS OR DAMAGE – The Show Committee will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors,

but will not be responsible for, or assume any liability in the event of any accident or misfortune, to either dogs or exhibitors participating in these Shows. The welfare of an Exhibitor’s child is assumed to be the responsibility of the Exhibitor. It is distinctly understood that Exhibitors will exercise control and restraint over their children.

• Exhibitors should follow their veterinarian’s recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations. Additionally, clubs should include any specific local health requirements; for example proof of rabies vaccination.

• PUBLICATION RIGHTS – By entering this show, all owners, handlers, breeders and kennels agree that all rights to televise, videotape, photograph, advertise, promote and publicize or otherwise exploit this show, or the persons or animals participating in it or the results of the competition before, during or after the event, shall belong solely to The American Kennel Club and their respective assigns, including the use of the names, likenesses or biographical matter of all dogs, owners, handlers, breeders and kennels participating in the show and no such owner, handler, breeder or kennel shall allow any other party to make commercial use of any videotape or photograph of any person or animal participating in this competition.
