Contracting With PSI
All staffing agencies and recruiting firms in Fiji must abide by Fijian Government Law, specifically the Employment Relations Bill (ERB) which is administered by the Ministry of Labour & Productivity. The law requires that contracts for overseas employment be made subject to the laws of Fiji and signed in Fiji. The contract must also be sighted and signed by the Permanent Secretary of Labour in Fiji. These measures are being taken to protect citizens from exploitation and abuse which has hurt so many. Precise Secure Incorporation will comply with the above rule of law.
PSI has entered into a formal written contract with our guards. We work as their employment agency to help them secure viable overseas employment. PSI helps with CV-resume development, job search efforts, mobilization/demobilization, logistics, even the collection and disbursement of payroll.
PSI has negotiated high risk life insurance through Lloyd's of London for the benefit of our guards.
As a registered Employer we have to pay 'superannuation' to the Fiji National Provident Fund (FNPF), which is the equivalent of 8% of Gross Salary of all employees. These fees are to be deducted from their payroll and remitted to this superannuation scheme. FNPF is a government owned corporate company established to look after the workers retirement funds. PSI is sufficiently staffed, competent and capable of accounting for and administrating payroll on behalf of our personnel. Employers can take advantage of the opportunity to bring PSI onboard as a sub-contractor or enter into a Memorandum of Understanding whereby PSI becomes a third-party (i.e. outsource) recruiter. This will eliminate potential legal problems with the Fijian government.
