Project Description
The 24th Street WTP is a conventional water treatment facility that has the capacity to treat 140 million gallons per day. The City anticipates the rehabilitation of the following areas to be included, which may or may not be all inclusive of what will be required for this project:

Scope of WorkDesign Services
Conduct asset condition assessment and recommend a rehabilitation capital improvement
program for 24th Street WTP which will include scope items and cost estimates for the current
(2017), subsequent 4-year (2021), and 8-year (2025) rehabilitation projects.
Provide design services including, but not limited to, agency coordination, preparation of
preliminary, pre-final and final plans and consultation regarding the CMAR cost models and final
cost proposal, assistance in the bid evaluation and recommendation of contract award.
Construction Administration & Inspection Services
Provide construction administration and inspection services including, but not limited to, quality
control services during the course of construction, on-site examination of materials, equipment
and workmanship, coordinating special inspections for structural/mechanical/electrical work,
start-up assistance, operator training, and preparing/reviewing project documents (e.g.
correspondences, schedules, submittals, shop drawings, test data, project data, contractor
progress payments, change orders).

CMAR Design Phase Services
Provide CMAR Design Phase Services including, but not limited to,
detailed cost estimating, constructability studies, long-lead procurement
studies, setting goals for SBE participation and assisting design team to
develop a list of all required Maintenance-Of-Plant-Operation (MOPO).
CMAR Construction Phase Services
Provide CMAR Construction Phase Services including, but not limited to,
scheduling and managing construction site operations, manage all
construction related contracts, quality controls, coordinating with various
agencies and utility companies, arranging for procurement of materials and
equipment, addressing all permitting requirements, and dealing with owner
issues.
Vendor Registration
Register in the Vendor Management System PRIOR TO SUBMITTING A
PROPOSAL.
New Requirement - The Vendor Number MUST be included on the
cover of the STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS and on the BID
PROPOSAL PACKAGE/ENVELOPE.
New Firms - After Registering, the City will email a Vendor Number
within TWO DAYS.
