Solicitation PurposeThe city of Houston (city), Houston Airport System (HAS) issoliciting Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) for a ConstructionManager-At-Risk (CMAR) service provider to rehabilitatesanitary sewer lines and related facilities serving the airsidearea of Terminal A at IAH. The reason this project using CMARprocurement is there are about 2,000 feet of 24” sewer lines(w/36” liner) be (trenchless) tunneled 20 feet below the activerunway during the construction, which pose a significant risk ofrunway settlement during operation.
