The 1st Philippine National Symposium on Wound Care is the premiere educational event and gathering of wound care professionals in the Philippines. The Wound Care Institute of the Philippines shall hold this conference every year for all members of the wound care multidisciplinary team.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This conference is designed for physicians, nurses, physical therapists, researchers, occupational therapists, nutritionists, dietitians and other clinicians involved in treating and managing patients with wounds. The speakers of this event will provide relevant, current and evidence-based information in the field of wound management.

ACCREDITATIONThe Wound Care Institute of the Philippines is pleased to offer CE units through the University of Santo Tomas College of Rehabilitation Sciences for Physical Therapists. The Main Conference and Concurrent Session have been submitted to the Professional Regulation Commission for approval for Nurses in the Philippines. The Main Conference has also been submitted to the California Board of Registered Nursing for approval through Foz Foronda Physical Therapy which is an approved Continuing Education Provider. The Basic Wound Care Course: A Practice-Based Overview is approved for physical therapists and physical therapist assistants for 15.0 Contact Hours in California, Maryland, Illinois, Wisconsin, Arizona and Nevada. It is also approved for physical therapists and physical therapist assistants in New Jersey for 14.5 Contact Hours. The same course is approved in California for RNs..
