Prayer before an Exam

Dear Lord,

Sometimes I feel a little strange prayingto you because of an exam.It doesn't really seem all that significantwhen you consider the "big picture."But right now, the test looms so largethat it is all I can see before me.

I pray to you for three things:- the strength to handle the pressure that I feel,- the confidence to feel securein my knowledge and preparation,- and the ability to keep an appropriateperspective on it all.Help me to keep in mind what is really important,even as I focus all of my time and energyon this test in the immediate future. Amen

Prayer for a Successful Examination

Oh Great St. Joseph of Cupertino, who while on earth was given the grace of being asked in your examination only the questions you know. Please obtain for me the like favor in these examinations which I am now preparing for. In return, I promise to invoke you and to make you known through Christ, Our Lord. Amen.

Dear God Today I will take my examination which is so important to me. Though I am nervous, I am not afraidBecause I know that as I write my answersIt is YOUR hands that work.

And now, as I take this examinationPlease enlighten my mindto be able to answer correctlyAnd to recall everything that I have studied.I will do my best in this exam and to you GodI will entrust my fateI knoW that whatever will be the result,

it is according to YOUR will.

YOU have watched me As I worked hard to study for this examAlthough I don’t feel very confidentAnd I don’t know if I am preparedI truly believe that YOU would give me what I deserve.I deserve to pass this exam, God.

I am happy that today YOU are with meFor with YOU I will win this battleAnd as I close my eyes and feel YOUR presenceIn this examination roomYOU put confidence to my heart.AMEN.
