Dr. Pradeep Balaraju obtained his bachelor and master degrees in veterinary science from India. Following his graduation he worked as lecturer teaching veterinary parasitology to undergrad students. Upon moving to Canada, he pursued a master’s degree in Food Safety at the University of Guelph and subsequently worked in different research laboratories. He has also worked as a small animal practitioner before joining TUCVM as small animal intern. He strongly believes in 'work is worship.' His professional interest includes critical care, internal medicine and dermatology. Outside of his profession he is interested in sports, economy and exploring new places. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family especially with his three-year old son Vivaan.
