Adrià's grandpas' first meetJoan was born in Sóller at 1941 and he was a

fisherman in Port of Sóller. The 14th of july of 1957 he was returning home when he saw a very beautiful girl named Maria, walking by the sand of the beach and he fell in love quickly.

Maria was born 1st of october of 1944. She lived in Sóller.

Every night, Joan has been putting flowers in Maria's windows, and a few days later they met and fell in love and start going out.

They go out four years and 14th of october of 1961, they got married

Joan and Maria's wedding

They got married at Sant Bartomeu's church, in Sóller. Maria was wearing a long and white dress and Joan was wearing a black suit with a red tie.

Celebration

They went to have lunch at Maria's mother's home with all the family and friends.

Honeymoon and presents

The people of the wedding bought them a Vespa, and for Honeymoon they went to make a tour around Mallorca in ten days, and it went very well.

In 1962, thanks to the wedding presents, they could open a shop.

And they had three beautiful children, Dolores, Guillem and Rosa Maria.

Joan's parent's first met

Pep was born in 1972 in Sóller and was a train driver. Joan's mum was born in 1971 in Sóller too and works in a hotel. They first met at IES Guillem Colom Casasnovas and they got on well.

They have been flirting for a few years, they went to the beach, to the cinema... and in 1991 they start going out and finally five years later, they've got married at the Es Convent church.

Wedding

Celebrate

They made a dinner at Espléndido Hotel in Port of Sóller with a lot of people, including family and friends.

Presents and honeymoon

The guests bought them some furnitures and gave them some money. They spent their honeymoon in the Canary Islands.

And they had two cannibal children, Joan and Maria.

There are many differences between old marriages and recent weddings. For example:
