The memorable days

My grandparents met when they were very young because they were neighbours, when my grandmother was 8 and my grandfather was 13.

They were friends and they played together because they had a lot of things in common, also they went out for 3 years

In 1961 they got married in Sant Bartomeu’s church. My grandmother was 23 and my grandfather was 27. They had a simple wedding

After the wedding their guests and them went to a cafe and ate an “enssaïmada” and drank a cup of chocolate

In their honeymoon they went to Lluc, Manacor and Palma with the money of the wedding. They are still married.

My mum and my dad met in 1986 when they were 15 years old because they had friends in common. My mother’s friend introduced them.

My dad asked my mother out in the square where they always went, near my mother's house.

In 1995 they got married, my mother wore a white wedding dress with rhinestones and a big roses bouquet and my father wore a black suit.

After that in their honeymoon they travelled to the Canary islands where they enjoyed a few unforgettable days in the islands

The guests gave them presents of the wedding list.

At the moment my parents are still married

In conclusion the relationship of our parents was similar but the wedding was different because the wedding of grandparents was simple however the wedding of parents was sumptuous.
