When I design in a specific place, I allowed myself to be guided by images and the genius loci. I remember the context, relating to the type of architecture that I am looking for. The surroundings, spirits me to create something unorthodox, something that I can related to my root. Most of the images are originated from my subjective experience and are only rarely accompanied by a remembered architectural commentary. While I
am designing, I try to find out what these images means, so that I can learn how to
create a wealth of visual forms and atmospheres, the phenomenology.

Staircase
Bench
- Subtracted some ground parts which are attached the planes
- The structure inpired the context- Subtracted planes became three dimentional forms
With an abstract model which includes two system, each component was stretched, expanded, and shortened by following the human scale.

Site
Boundary
Through three different kinds of site analysis, I found two inpiring contexts : Urban and Park.
It seems that there is a boundary between Chinatown and Park. Therefore, the purpose
for my project becomes to make blurred boundarybetween them : “Architecture” and ‘Green Space”
