The Society for Educa�onal and Entrepreneurship Development (SEED) is a registered body under Sec�on 10 of the Tamil Nadu Socie�es Registra�on Act. SEED has been established by professionals with rich experience in Industry, Academia and Entrepreneurship. SEED is involved in organizing Training and Development programs for academia & industries, facilita�ng quality assurance through Accredita�on, promo�ng Ins�tute Industry partnership, nurturing entrepreneurship, facilita�ng publica�ons and undertaking consultancy, R&D projects.

Sustainable Ins�tute Industry Partnership (SIIP) is an ini�a�ve that aims to bridge the Ins�tute Industry gap through symbiosis. The gap exists due to rela�ve differences in perspec�ves of educa�onal Ins�tutes and Industries. Ins�tutes look at the general development of students that will give them a wide range of opportuni�es and choices, while Industries look for employees with specific skills who will fit directly into their system.

Having this obvious discrepancy in their respec�ve requirements of Ins�tutes & Industries, there is a need to create a pla�orm where Ins�tutes and Industries can meet, share ideas and interact to bridge the gap. To fulfil this much awaited need, the Sustainable Ins�tute Industry Partnership conference, the flagship event of SEED was conducted in 2013, 2014 & 2015 at IIT-Madras, Chennai and 2016 at IIC, New Delhi.

In con�nua�on of our success in previous edi�ons and as a Public Private Partnership model, the 5�� Na�onal Summit on “Sustainable Ins�tute Industry Partnership (SIIP -2017)” is organized by SEED in collabora�on with Colombo Plan Staff College, Phillippines, partnering with BOAT (SR) as Knowledge partner and The New Indian Express as Media Partner.

At the end of the conference, the par�cipants would have:

• Strategies for developing Sustainable partnership.

• Ac�on plan for sustainable partnership with Industries/Ins�tutes.

• Enrichment in their competencies by sharing of cases of SIIP models.

• Established new contacts & networking with poten�al Industries/Ins�tutes.

The centre for Industrial Consultancy and Sponsored Research (IC&SR) was set up in the early seven�es to promote interac�on between the Industry and the Ins�tute. Today, the centre for IC&SR is an independent sec�on of the Ins�tute, headed by a Dean. Original Papers are invited for paper presenta�on. All papers must be relevant to the themes of the conference. In case of joint paper, each author must register himself/herself separately.

v Those who wish to submit the paper will have to submit an abstract for selec�on.

v Abstract should not exceed the limit of 200 words.

v The cover page should contain the �tle, full authorship, author's academic degree, professional �tles, e-mail
