• CRC Scheme was introduced in March 2010• October 2010 spending review• April 2011 Amendment Order• In 2011 the UK Government and DAs started out on the

simplification process• Formal consultation took place from 27/3/12 to 18/6/12

of 2012• Autumn Statement of December 2012• 2016 Review
