The tradition of wearing traditional costumes is still continued and alive only in some parts of Mazovia.

Łowicz, which is about 100 km from Warsaw is a unique place.

Many citizens are proud of living there. For a short time 1572 it was the capital of Poland.

Wedding dress

The wedding dress differs from the ordinary one. The stripes are of more delicate colours and cream is the basic.

The bottom border velvet is no longer black but it is cream as well. The most beautiful garment piece is the wedding cap.

Camisole - the upper part of the wedding dress is made of golden damask.
