We are embarking on a global road trip, raising awareness about plastic pollution from the United Arab Emirates to the rest of the world. The use and subsequent disposal of single use plastics such as water bottles and shopping bags has an increasingly destructive impact on our environment. Our forests, deserts, lakes and oceans are clogging up with plastic. This has to stop. We need to think and act differently on our consumption of plastics: reuse, recycle, refuse or find alternatives to plastic. The waste produced by you as an individual does not only have a local impact, but also a global one. Our mission, the PlasticNotSoFantastic (PNSF) Expedition, will raise and make you aware of the catastrophic impact our current plastic waste management has on our planet. Our mission will explore, encounter, investigate, learn and ACT - and hopefully so will you.
