Chaplain’s Message - Hal ScottLet your gentleness be known to all men. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds. Finally, my brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy----meditate on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard, practice these things and the God of peace will be with you.

Chief Rabban - Gene YeeWe have arrived in November, in the Fall of our Shrine year. Let us give thanks to the Supreme Architect of the Universe for all the blessings we and our fellow Nobles and families have received. We are indeed blessed in many ways, including that most impor-tant one, our fraternal relationships. First, last, and always, we are brothers. Let us not forget those obligations we took of our own free will and accord, to maintain and improve the lot of all members of our fraternity and concordant bodies. They remain timeless, and ever present, whether we first mentioned them 53 years ago, 38 years ago, or three years ago; they are a part of our basic fabric called Freemasonry. The journey we take together called Shrinedom is a fraternal one, of our own choosing. It is my wish and prayer that we give thanks to our Creator this Thanksgiv-ing, for allowing us to make this journey, and for placing so many great, kind-hearted Nobles and their ladies and families as such an integral part together as our Shrine family. No one knows if our Creator has granted us another 24 hours, or more, or less, so to me it is incumbent that the time I spend today will aid and assist my worthy brothers and their widows and orphans. So as I, and we, sit this year at our own table of Thanksgiving, created by each of us however humble, I thank our Creator and ask the Creator’s blessings for you, each and everyone, for being a part of this life we call Al Bahr Shriners. Vamos a dar gracias a Dios. So mote it be.
