The Art and Science of PlayGameTime’s newest creation, IONiX™, is an aesthetically pleasing outdoor art form and an exciting, ground-level play system that promotes active and imaginative play.
Parents and grandparents see IONiX as a beautiful community art installation! The elegant curves, organic shapes and use of varying levels create a bold visual statement.
Each IONiX play sculpture is inspired by real science and closely mimics natural elements to spark a child’s imagination.
IONiX is more than just beautiful! It is the result of our work with leading play scientists, educators and designers. It leverages nearly a century of play research, and every component enhances a child’s strength, balance, coordination and decision-making skills. There are activities that promote social interaction as children play alongside one another. The translucent panels at the top of the ShadowPlay® Canopy capture light from the sun and bathe the play area with colorful hues that promote sensory integration for children of all abilities.
