Formed in 1946, the Plano Chamber of Commerce is the voice of business for the Plano community.
Representing more than 1,100 members that employ more than 130,000 employees, the Chamber is
leading the community in the effort to help grow as a global hub for talent, innovation, and opportunity.
The Plano Chamber of Commerce is a 5-star accredited chamber by the United States Chamber of
Commerce, putting it in the top 1% of all chambers of commerce nationwide. In 2018, the Plano
Chamber was named the Chamber of the Year by peers in the Association of Chamber of Commerce
Executives. These prestigious distinctions are not something we take lightly, and we strive to continue to
improve our efforts and services to make a more positive impact on our business community and

VIRTUAL TOWN HALLS | BI-MONTHLY Plano Chamber’s Virtual Town Halls feature headline speakers like elected officials, local leaders, or C-
suite leadership. The purpose is to update our members and community on the rapidly changing Covid-
19 crisis. In recent weeks we have hosted Senator John Cornyn, Plano ISD Superintendent Sara Bonser,
and Congressman Van Taylor, with many more scheduled. The average attendance is 100, with our
largest to date attracting about 300 attendees.
