ABOUT THE SHOW

Our radio show is called 5 drive , the type of show is a drivetime hour between 7:00am and 8:00am

The genre of our show is mainly pop, exploring this style of music and guest star within this genre.

• As the show starts to process we do plan to branch out by airing classic, hip hop and Rock music

• By Changing the genre from week to week we will be appealing and attracting to a wide range of music lovers , resulting in an increase of people tuning into the show on a weekly basis.

AUDIENCES

Core Audience- both genders aged 25- 35 social class C • As the time the show is aired at is perfect for this age range as they are

usually off to work. • The show also explores Travel, weather and also General news Updates, so i

feel this element would also be great for the target audience as it’s very accessible and keeps people up-to -date.

Secondary audience - females aged 15- 25

• perfect as teenagers are on their way to school and usually listen to music, so this show is very accessible as most teenagers own a phone.

• The Music chart show, Stars and guests and also the social media, which again would be very appealing to the audience as the 21st century is surrounded by social media and is mostly used and driven by teenagers.

• Another possible audience I feel would be interested in the station would be people who love pop music , as the channel explores the genre.
