• We are basing our titleson the classical arcade (e.g. Pacman) video games

• Titles will be pixilated as it is a convention of classic games

• We are keeping the titles simple, text over a solid background colour. As in ‘The Last of Us’

BA S I C P LO T• DAY 1: An Average Joe, and perhaps slight loser, Dan wakes

up from a restful sleep. As he goes about his morning, obstacles are dangerous to him. E.g., almost drinks bleach instead of the orange juice. Pops out to shop to get milk and bread (as left on list by mum) and many obstacles on way. Eventually gets hit by car and dies.

• DAY 2: Dan wakes up again and day is exactly same, e.g. same old woman waves at him. Is very confused. Gets hit by car again and dies.

• DAY 3: Dan awakes and is this time very cautious and makes body armour out of household objects. Goes about day but is determined not to die. Gets past car and doesn’t die. Dan hears massive noise behind him and turns around to see a massive “LEVEL COMPLETE” floating in the air behind him. Then he looks around to see a big window in the sky with a gamer celebrating in it, looking down at him.

• Our target are mainly 18-40 years old, as this is what we found from our research

• People from this age range are more likely to play video games

• We can target them using social media, Web 2.0 and short film festivals, such as Brief Encounters in Bristol
