�is simple, inviting website is designed to provide a quick overview of the new little local King West bar and eatery. Itis meant to appeal to the local condo crowd of younger men and women from 20 to 45 years old, some of whom areyoung parents and working professionals, and some of whom are still in university.

�e main colour for the site is Pennies own bright yellow-orange; it's the colour of their logo, and also of the outerwalls of the establishment. �is colour is youthful, energetic and light hearted, and is perfect to convey the cheerful,humorous vibe of the little bar. Another colour is purple, and a light shade of it. Pennies inside interior and lighting ispurple; it balances the yellow by being opposite on the colour wheel. Younger people tend to view purple as a happycolor, while older adults might assign a deeper meaning to it, such as mystery, magic, power and luxury.

�e site features elegant elements and imagery to appeal to the older 35+ year old condo dwellers, and retains thehumorous captions and photography from Pennies Instagram and Facebook to attract the younger, social media-savvycustomers.

�e nav bar features large Pennies logo on the �rst page, which becomes smaller on all the subsequent pages. It alsofeatures links to Pennies social media, since their amusing social marketing is a strong asset to the brand.

As most people’s reasons for visiting Pennies website would be to book a reservation, to look at the menu and prices, and to �nd out the location, there are prominent links to Reservations, Hours & Locations, and Menu in the sticky menu above on the each page.

�e Hours & Locations page is a simple design with street name and other info clearly readable on white background,and a Map below with Pennies marked with a pin for those who are nearby, perhaps viewing the site on their mobiledevices, not to be disoriented by too much imagery.

�e Menu site is, in contrast, colourful and attractive to invoke desire to try the sliders, and to showcase low prices.

Another unique feature is Pennies own merchandise available for purchasing, so the follow up page is an easy to use online store with the options to select the colour, size and quantity of the products, add them to cart or remove them, and checkout that takes the user seamlessly to a vendor's page to complete the purchase.

Lastly, there is a page with a form to leave comments and feedback for Pennies with user's name and contact details.

Each page is tied together with brand colours and feel, each has the sticky nav above. �ough each page has a di�erent layout, consistency is achieved by following the 12-column grid.

�e clean, fresh, versatile sans-serif font Bahnschri� Condensed is used for headings, and paragraph text is set inMinion Pro, a serif that looks classy and is easy to read.
