What  is  it?  Pinterest is a virtual pinboard which allows users to organize and share beautiful and interesting content they find on the web.

Mission    Pinterest’s goal is to connect everyone in the world through the 'things' they find interesting.

Pinterest  states;  People use pinboards to plan their weddings, decorate their homes, and share their favorite recipes.

Functions?  Users can pin, re-pin, follow, like and create boards of interests.

How  does  it  work?  

Create or upload a pin with an image or video

Create a pinboard of your interest, categorize all your pins and start sharing

Follow people or just the pinboards you like

You can follow what’s relevant or interesting to you, not everything your friends share
