As a result of a project to develop a new model of business in the field of travel and tourism.Built and consolidated through the development of a group of partner-ships that made the creation and subsequent starting of business possible.

Nowadays, the importance of wine and gastronomy in the national touris-tic offer is unquestionable.

For the recognition and growth of the demand for this product, the tech-nical and technological evolution of Portuguese vitiviniculture has been demonstrated by the numerous prizes won lately by Portuguese wines in national and international contests.

Recognizing gastronomy as a national heritage contributed decisively for the recognition of cuisine and its traditional products as important factors for the development of the country and its regions. As a result, we now testify the development of a contemporary and author’s cuisine.That is why the investment in eno-gastronomy is largely justified as a part of our offer in Portugal.

In order to pursue these goals in a consistent and authentic way, we have established partnerships with AMPV (PMWA – Portuguese Municipalities Wine Association) and FPCG (PFGF – Portuguese Federation of Gastronomy Fellows) and we plan to establish new agreements with other entities.

PMWA – Portuguese Municipalities Wine Association Founded in 2008, PMWA´s main objective is the protection of the historical-cultural, patrimonial, economical and social identity of the Portuguese Municipalities and areas connected with the production of quality wines.PMWA promotes the regions and municipalities whose wine production is important for the economy and the historical identity of the regions.They combine and unite together the agents of other sectors promoting the regions. Currently it has 80 associates and presides to the RECEVIN – European Network of Wine Cities.

 PFGF - Portuguese Federation of Gastronomy Fellows

In June 2001, with the increasing number of Associations for the Defence of Portuguese Gastronomy, and with the need of acting together for the same goal, the PFGB was created.Nowadays, PFGB has more than 70 fellows that represent regions, dishes and products from all over Portugal.Assuming a position of defending Portuguese gastronomy as a strategic product of our economy, specially in the tourism sector, PFGB and their associates insist on direct and indirect intervention in the defence of products, producers and traditional recipes.
