How do you insert a photo onto Photoshop?

1. File2. Place image

Firstly, you use the Quick selection select‘Quick Selection Tool’ (W) using plus and minus. To assess your selection and modify you use the ‘Quick Mask Tool’ (Q) which highlights the background.

To change into plus and minus on the ‘Quick Selection Tool’ (Q), you hold down the shift key.

After using the ‘Quick Selection Tool’ (W) you exit out of ‘Quick Mask’ (Q) and you are left with an ‘army of ants’ around Jonny Wilkinson.

To finish it off you go to ‘Select’ at the top and then ‘Inverse’.

Lastly, to get rid of the ‘army of ants’ and background you need to ‘De-select’ (command D).
