Motivation: Solving the Mystery
W; Oct 3; 11 am - 1 pm Bottom line, your job as a leader is to motivate your staff to peak performance on a daily basis. People are individ-uals and have very individual needs that you must figure out and satisfy if you want that person to be productive. There are some tried and true methods that work with most everyone and, if practiced correctly, can have a tremendous impact on the performance. Join us for a look at how recognition, rewards, and even proper discipline can all contribute to a productive, motivated staff.
Discipline: Coaching, not Punishment
W; Oct 17; 11 am - 1 pm Not many people enjoy confrontation, particularly if it leads to a sever reprimand or termination. But if we change our perspective on discipline, we see it for what it is - an opportunity to coach someone back into acceptable behavior. Join us for a discussion on having constructive conversations with problem performers to shift the responsibility of behavior change from you to the person with the behavior problem. Personal accountability is the key to success in any workplace and
your success in establishing it will insure fewer uncomfortable conversations in the future.
Give it Up—The Art of Delegation

Delegation is one of those things that sounds good—for everyone else. We make all sorts of excuses why we can’t delegate, but that’s what most of them are ---excuses. Developing people is a huge part of your re-sponsibility if you are in a leadership role, but it must be
