Philémon and Baucis Mythological tale of Ovide

Philémon and Baucis are home. Zeus comes. Two old people want to catch the goose and offer it to the lord.

Zeus doesn’t want to kill the goose. The king of the Olymp puts his hand on Philémon’s arm.

Zeus asks them to make a wish because they were generous (to him). Philémon and Baucis wish to die together.

The god of gods transforme their house into a temple. Two old people want to be the guardians of the temple.

Few years later, Philémon and Baucis turn into trees.

Even today, we can see them and hear their heartbeat.
