PALM BURNING RITUAL

Sunday, February 23 after 5pm Mass All parishioners are asked to bring your old palms that we used during last year’s Palm Sunday celebration and please deposit them on the barrel located at the vestibule, as this will be used for Palm Burning Ritual on February 23 after the 5pm Life Teen Mass. The ashes from these palms will be used for Ash Wednesday. Everyone is in-vited to witness the Palm Burning Ritual and Prayer.

Fr Fernando Suarez, known among local Catholics as a healing priest, died Tuesday, February 4, after collapsing while playing a game of tennis at the Alabang Country Club. He suffered a heart attack.

He would have turned 53 years old on Friday, February 7.

The successful celebration of the Feast of Sto. Nino was held last Saturday, January 25, 2020 at St. Martha Church and Ojie Engalla is the Committee Chair. The fun filled event went smoothly with a Procession, Reen-actment, Holy Mass, dinner dance, raffle drawings. A Certificate of Appreciation was given to Zeny Duran-Bennett for her Leadership & as Committee Chair of the Feast of Sto. Nino for the past 17 years. The Filipino Ministry Officers headed by Chairperson Esther Acevedo presented the certificate.
