Turkey amended the related regulation in order to pave the way for foreign investors to obtain citizenship on condition that a person invests on real estate over $250.000, invests over $500.000 in firm capital or deposits over $500.000 in banks. The amendment was published and entered into force on the Official Gazette on Wednesday, September 19.

जो कोई भी सरकार =वारा जार` Gकए गएबांड 500.000 अमेkरक% डॉलर क% क%मतपर खर`दता है और 3 साल तक रखता हैAnyone who buys government-issued bondsworth 500.000 US Dollars and keeps for 3 years.

जो कोई भी 9निXचत पूंजीके pप म7 कम से कम

500.000 अमेkरक% डॉलरका 9नवेश करता है।

Anyone who invests at least 500.000 US Dollars

as fixed capital.

Anyone who buys real estate worth of 250.000 US Dollars, under the condition that

the deed will be restricted for sale for thenext three years

Applicant shall;• Buy a real estate in the amount of at least 250.000-USD as of 19 September

2018,• State this transfer is for the acquisition of Turkish citizenship in the application

form and the title deed will be issued with this statement and an annotation that the real estate will not be sold for three years.

Assessing the Real EstateTo be granted the citizenship as per the Regulation, the real estate shall be in theminimum amount of 250.000 USD and the real estate value shall be assessed by a report issued by the real estate valuation institution licensed by Capital Markets Board. To determine the monetary values in USD currency stated in the Regulation, the effective selling rate and/or cross exchange rates (in favor of applicant) of the Central Bank of Turkey at the date of acquisition shall be taken as basis.

Registering the AnnotationIn the declarations section of the title deed, it shall be stated that it includes a commitment for not to sell the real estate within three years from the date of acquisition within the scope of Article 20 of the Regulation on the Implementation of the Turkish Citizenship Law. The registration of this annotation may be requested during the transfer of title deed or later.

Deprivation of CitizenshipForeigners who are determined to be subject to the conditions of exception must continue to carry these conditions for the period stipulated in the regulation. Otherwise Turkish Nationality will be canceled by the General Directorate.

Foreign natural persons who are willing to apply for citizenship regarding fixed capital investment of US $ 500.000 shall apply to the Ministry of Economy. The application shall be submitted to the Ministry if it is determined that provides thenecessary conditions by the General Directorate of Incentive Implementation and Foreign Capital of the Ministry of Economy.

To determine the fixed capital investment amounts, the date of September 19, 2018 when the regulation was issued will be taken into consideration. Fixed capital investments made before this date will not entitle citizenship applications.
