ETA SWITCH — BROOK CROMPTON .75 hp 800.543.6618 [email protected] SERVICE BULLETIN • 12 PFM 9.2 PFM 9.0 PFM900 VBG620 MODELS: 50-558 Pro-Cut’s new ETA Switch Pro-Cut will be using a new brand and style of on/off switch (50-558). The Manufacturer is ETA, which will replace the current brand. The ETA switch is wired differently but can be used in the VBG620, PFM900, PFM-9.0 and PFM-9.2 lathes. Please use the following Wiring Instructions when installing the ETA switch: Motor: Brook Crompton Motor .75 hp 115 v Installation: When installed the letters “ETA” on main switch body (same side as LNE11 and 12k) faces up/out. Terminals: LNE 11 — Thick white wire from the power cord is plugged onto terminal LNE 11. LNE 21 — Thick Black wire from the power cord coupled with the Thick Red wire from the micro switch are plugged onto terminal LNE 21. A-2 — Short Thick Blue wire, connected to a Thick Black wire from the micro switch. The Blue wire is connected to terminal A-2. 12 K — Thick Black wires from the motor crimped together are connected to terminal 12 K. 22 I — Thick Light Blue wires from the capacitors, crimped together coupled with a single Thick Black wire from the motor connected to terminal 22 I. Ground — Thick Green wire from the power cord and Thick Striped Green from the micro switch attached to ground, (lower left side of electrical box). If PFM900: LNE 11 — Thick White wire from the power cord coupled with Thin Black wire to computer are plugged onto terminal LNE 11. LNE 21 — Thick Black wire from the power cord coupled with the Thick Red wire from the micro switch and Thin Red wire to the computer are plugged onto terminal LNE 21.
