PENTASTAR AVIATION SAFETY INITIATIVES

Safety Culture

At Pentastar Aviation, every aspect of our operations revolves around our steadfast commitment to safety. Our industry-leading safety

programs consistently exceed established industry standards to provide customers with an aviation experience that is always safe and

secure. Our management team is led by aviation veterans with decades of experience meeting the rigorous safety standards utilized by the

major airlines. The importance they have placed on safety standards and processes is reflected in the culture of safety that has become a

way of life for every member of the Pentastar team.

Our dedicated staff, all with extensive domestic and international aircraft operations credentials, supports Pentastar Aviation’s “excellence

in customer service” philosophy by insisting that your experience as a managed aircraft client be virtually effortless. And with our

extensive domestic and international flight routing capabilities, Pentastar Aviation’s flight operations lead the industry.

Safety Management System

The business aviation Safety Management System (SMS) is a quality management approach to controlling flight-related risks. It also

supports a sound safety culture for healthy aviation organizations. Quality aviation SMS programs form the core of company safety

efforts. Aviation SMS programs provide management with accessible tools for monitoring safety-related processes. Pentastar Aviation

Charter, Inc. has developed its own Safety Management System, which incorporates operational risk assessment and hazard mitigation

with internal evaluation and quality assurance concepts resulting in much more proactive and structured management of safety and

continuous improvement of operational processes.

International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations

The International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) was formally introduced by the International Business Aviation

Council (IBAC) and made available to the business aviation community at the European Business Aviation Conference and Exhibit

(EBACE) in Geneva, May 2002. Pentastar Aviation Charter, Inc. is IS-BAO registered. IS-BAO was developed by the business aviation

industry for the benefit of all corporate and private operators. It is a code of best practices which includes a robust SMS, based on the

ICAO International Standards and Recommended Practices and was designed to help business aviation operational departments

worldwide achieve a high level of safety and professionalism.

ARG/US Platinum Rating

Platinum Rating - The highest level of ARG/US safety ratings is awarded to those operators who meet the criteria for the ARG/US Gold

Rating, and successfully complete a biennial ARG/US on-site safety audit. The ARG/US audit is a true process audit administered by

trained and experienced aviation auditing professionals to evaluate the operator against industry best practice standards. A Platinum rating

requires a functioning Safety Management System, and clear and workable Emergency Response Plan, and appropriate written standards,

implementation, and records for all major aspects of Operations and Maintenance within a flight department or Charter company.

Wyvern Approved

Wyvern Recommended Operators comply with The Wyvern Standard™—a leading audit standard developed in cooperation with the

most sophisticated and demanding corporate flight departments in the world that far exceeds the regulatory requirements for air charter

flight operations and maintenance. Compliance with the standard is demonstrated by sucessful completion of an on-site safety audit on a

two year audit cycle.

Flight Operations Quality Assurance (FOQA)

Historically, the Flight Data Recorder (or “Black Box”) data has only been used after an accident to aid in aircraft accident investigations.

With a FOQA program, we proactively look at the aircraft systems data generated from every flight to identify, define, and investigate any

adverse trends and non-standard events related to operation of the aircraft. Once identified, non-standard or adverse events and trends are

investigated and corrected through the use of root cause analysis principles, thereby maintaining operational risk levels at as low as

reasonably practical (ALARP) levels.

ICAO Annex 6 Part I requires commercial operators to develop and utilize a FDM/FOQA program for aircraft with maximum takeoff

weights of 59,400 pounds and above.

Security

Our facilities feature the latest technology to ensure your security. Gated ramp access, security cameras, a badge system for anyone on the

premises and electronically secured facility entrances help us monitor activity around the facility. Your personal security is our utmost

priority. Additionally, as a 135 operator, our Twelve Five Standard Security Program is in place, providing an additional level of security

to the facility and to your aircraft.
